Beast Taming: Reincarnated With The Ultimate Bond System!

Chapter 147: Chapter : 147 : Twins!

Lysandra stood infront of the window, looking toward the lush garden outside, her chin resting on her palm.

She looked travelled, yet a touch of somethng, maybe bliss, remained on her feature.

"Yo... Ly... Se...!" A cheerful voice called on to her.

She looked toward her. It was Thristle, rushing toward her.

Thristle collided against her side, making her stumble, before regaining her balance.

"Thristle, stop being a child, already." Lysandra scolded, before looking outside the window again.

Thristle grinned, "Ohh... Come one. It's nothing new." Playfully pokking at her side.

Lysandra sighed, then looked ouside the window again.

Thristle's grim faltered, as she asked, standing beside her, "Lyse... Is something wrong?"

Lyaandra turned her head toward her. She thought for a moment, before replying, "When I... Ah... Woke up this morning..."

"My King kissed you?" Thristle asked,

"What? No... I mean yes." She growled, "I am not talking about that."

"Then?" Thristle asked, confused.

Lysandra calmed down then turned toward the window again, "Well... I was feeling a bit nausiac this morning."

"Huh?"

"And..." Lysandra blushed, "...this month, I missed my period."

Thristle turned toward her, eyes wide, "Are you?"

Lysandra smiled shyly, "I asked Vegia to check, and..."

"And what? Tell me fast." Thristle insisted, as she got excited.

Lysandra touched her stomach, "She said... I... I... Am actually pregnant."

Thristle jumped on her, hugging her tightly, "Ohh... Lyse. Did you tell My King?"

Lysandra shook her, "Not yet."

"Why not. I know he will be over joyed." Thristle said, still hugging.

Lysandra smiled, cheeks red.

"Huh..." Thristle said, pulling back.

"What?" Lysandra asked, confused.

"Mummy!" A cheerful voice called from behind her.

She felt him. Aiden was behind her. She blushed, as she slowly turned toward him.

"Sir..."

Behind her stood Aiden, with Luna beside him, carrying Leona in her arms.

"Mummy! You mean I going to have more siblings?" Leona asked, bounching in Luna's arm.

"Princess..." Luna muttered.

Lysandra then looked up, toward Aiden.

Lysandra just kept staring at him. His expression—the way his lips curved, that sudden brightness in his eyes—it made her chest feel warm.

Before she could even say a thing, Aiden suddenly scooped her up like she weighed nothing.

"Wha—Sir Aiden!" She gasped, but he'd already started spinning her in circles.

He was laughing—really laughing. It wasn't his calm, composed kind. It was just pure, stupid joy spilling out of him.

He hummed something under his breath, a soft, tuneless sound that made her heart beat all funny. "I can't believe it, Ly! Hah! You have no idea how happy I am right now!"

She clung to his shoulders, her cheeks burning. "S-Sir Aiden! Please, stop! I—I'm dizzy!"

"Alright, alright!" He slowed down, still grinning like a fool.

He set her down gently but didn't step away.

His arms stayed around her waist, keeping her close, like letting go would break something precious.

Her head was still spinning, but not from the twirling anymore. "You… you're ridiculous, She mumbled, eyes darting away.

"Maybe," He said softly, still smiling, "But I'm happy. So damn happy."

For a moment, they just stood there—his breath against her hair, her fingers twitching against his chest.

Then Aiden tilted his head slightly, voice dropping lower. "Is there… anything else I should know, Ly?"

She froze. Her ears twitched, and her face went even redder. "W-Well…" She hesitated, fumbling with her words. "Vegia… she said something…"

Aiden raised a brow. "Yeah? What'd she say?"

Lysandra's voice went small. "That… We're… going to have twins."

Aiden blinked once. Then again. Then his eyes went huge. "Wait—what!?"

She gave a tiny nod, biting her lip. "T-Twins…"

He just stared for a second, then let out a sound somewhere between a laugh and a shout. "Twins!? You mean two!? Like—two actual babies!?"

She couldn't stop smiling now, her whole face pink. "Y-Yes, two."

He let out a loud laugh, grabbed her face, and kissed her before she could even react. It wasn't planned or gentle—it was just full of raw excitement, pure emotion.

She gasped against his lips, hands gripping his shirt tight, her entire body trembling.

When he finally pulled back, he was still smiling like an idiot. "Twins! Damn it, Ly, you're amazing!"

Her voice came out barely a whisper. "Sir Aiden…"

"Do you realize what that means?" He couldn't stop laughing now. "Two of them! Two! Everyone's gonna lose their mind when they hears this!"

She laughed softly, leaning her forehead against his chest. "You're really that happy?"

He kissed her hair, murmuring, "You have no idea. This—this is everything I wanted, Ly."

Lysandra sighed softly, the corners of her lips lifting. "Then I'm glad… really glad."

Aiden just tightened his hold around her, still grinning, still laughing under his breath. "Twins. Damn… I'm never letting you go, Ly."

"You never did," She whispered, smiling against his chest.

Luna stood off to the side, arms crossed, tail flicking. She tried—really tried—to keep that smile steady on her face. "Twins, huh…" she muttered under her breath. Her ears drooped a little, though she quickly straightened them again.

Aiden's grin was too bright to even dim for a second. He was practically glowing, and that made her chest sting—but also melt at the same time. She sighed and finally stepped forward. "Master…"

Aiden turned toward her immediately. "Luna," he said softly, still holding Lysandra close.

She puffed her cheeks a little, then smiled, forcing out a small laugh. "I'm happy for her. Really. But still…" she leaned closer, narrowing her eyes playfully, "I'm here too, Master."

"Yeah?" he said softly.

Her voice wavered, quiet but clear. "I'm carrying our baby too."

Before anyone could add anything else, a sudden pop echoed through the room—then another.

Confetti exploded in every direction.

Aiden turned his head, half in shock, half in confusion—only to see Leona bouncing in Thristle's arms, both of them holding party crackers.

"How the hell—" He started.

"Twins! Twins!" Leona shouted, kicking her legs happily while Thristle laughed loud and proud.

"My King!" Thristle beamed, throwing another cracker into the air. "Three heirs! The Nightshade bloodline shall thrive!"

Leona clapped her hands.

Aiden couldn't help it—he burst out laughing. Luna facepalmed, and Lysandra just hid her red face in her hands.

"W-Why is she with you!?" Lysandra asked, her voice high.

Thristle looked unbothered. "She jumped into my arms. What was I supposed to do? Drop her?"

"Twins!" Leona repeated, bouncing again.

Aiden laughed so hard he nearly fell over. "Okay, okay, that's enough explosions before the castle burns down."

Luna sighed but couldn't hide her amusement.

Aiden grinned, turning back to Lysandra, who still looked like she wanted to vanish from embarrassment.

He touched her cheek softly. "Hey," he said, voice gentler now, "you okay?"

She peeked up at him, smiling faintly.

The room went quiet. Even Thristle stopped waving her crackers for a second.

Luna pulled at his sleeve, "Master..." She said softly.

Aiden blinked, frozen for half a heartbeat—and then that stupidly wide grin came right back.

He didn't say a word. He just leaned forward and kissed her—deep, full of everything he couldn't express right then.

Luna's eyes widened before she melted into it, clutching his sleeve, her whole body trembling just a little.

When he pulled back, he looked at both of them, "You two," He whispered, smiling like an idiot again, "are going to make me the happiest man alive."

Luna sighed softly, a small smile tugging at her lips. "You already are, Master."

Leona cheered again, "Twins and one more baby!"

Thristle laughed. "The Nightshade kingdom's gonna need more rooms, My King."

Lysandra let out a soft sigh, walking over to Thristle, who was still laughing and trying to clean bits of confetti out of her hair. "Give her here," Lysandra said, holding out her arms.

Thristle blinked. "Hmm?"

"My daughter," Lysandra said simply, smiling with that gentle authority only she could manage.

Thristle grinned and handed Leona over without question. "Aye, aye, my Queen."

Leona immediately reached out, her little hands grabbing onto Lysandra's hair as soon as she was lifted. "Mummy!" She squealed, bouncing in her arms.

Lysandra laughed softly, her voice sweet and warm. "Ohh, my baby. Are you excited, hmm? Twins, my love. You're going to have two more little siblings."

Leona's eyes went wide, kicking her feet. "I can play with them!?"

Lysandra's heart melted. "Yes, darling, you can play with them all you want. You'll be the best big sister ever."

Leona giggled, pure and loud, her tiny hands patting Lysandra's cheeks. "Yay! I be big sister! Big sister Leona!"

Lysandra smiled, leaning forward and kissing both her cheeks, one after the other. "Mwah. Mwah."

Leona squealed again, her laughter echoing through the room. "Mummy, that tickles!"

Lysandra couldn't stop smiling now, her expression glowing with warmth and pride. "Oh, my precious girl, you're already such a sweet one. They'll love you as much as I do."

Leona wrapped her arms around Lysandra's neck, pressing her tiny face into her shoulder. "I love you, Mummy."

Lysandra's breath caught for a second before she hugged her tightly, eyes soft. "I love you too, my little moon."

Leona tilted her head up, grinning. "Mama, I tell them story! When babies come, I tell them about Daddy and Mummy and Luna-Mummy and—uh—Thris-Mummy's boom thing!"

Thristle, from the back, raised a hand proudly. "It's called a party cracker!"

Luna groaned. "Please don't teach her to call explosions fun."

Leona just giggled harder, hiding her face in Lysandra's hair.

Lysandra brushed her fingers gently through Leona's hair, still smiling. "You can tell them any story you want, my love. Just… maybe skip the part with Thris-Mummu's 'boom things,' alright?"

Leona nodded, all serious for a second. "Okay! I tell happy story! Like when Daddy kissed Mummy!"

The whole room froze for a moment, and then Aiden choked out a laugh. "Wha—where'd you even—

Luna burst out laughing. "We always do it infront of her, Master. Don't look at me."

Lysandra turned crimson. "L-Leona!"

But Leona just smiled innocently. "It's true!"

Aiden stepped closer, chuckling as he reached out and ruffled Leona's hair. "You're too honest, kiddo."

Leona giggled again, snuggling against Lysandra's chest, her tiny hands patting her mother's cheek once more.

"Twins," She said softly, still smiling. "I can't wait, Mummy."

Lysandra hugged her again, whispering, "Me too, my little heart. Me too."
