The butler started the array and slowly, Luna opened her eyes. They looked hazy and the butler extended his hand toward her.

"Now, my bride, give your hand to me and we shall live a happy life—"

A hand pierced his abdomen and he looked at the blood freely flowing down his stomach.

"W-Why—?"

The butler looked directly at the female in front of him. But in her eyes was reflected his pathetic self, being pierced by her brother's hand.

"A-Are you not under my control—?"

The butler questioned before he fell to the ground. He was confused about what had happened.

Leo killed one person and then he turned toward the young master huddling not too far away.

The young master, who had just witnessed Leo killing someone, quickly backed off.

"N-No—! Don't come near me. I am warning you both—! Stay away—"

He yelled but Leo just kneeled in front of him. Luna stepped in front of him with a hazy look in her eyes as well, but she did not do anything either.

Suddenly, the young master recalled what his father had told him about this spell.

'Listen well, son. I do not trust anyone working for us. They will use any opportunity to backstab us if we give them a chance to. That's why I am going to plant a fail-safe in the spell. No matter who activates the spell, the person whom we use this spell on will only have loyalty for us.'

The young master let out a startled laugh before he reached out to grab Luna's outstretched hand and pull himself up.

"O-Oh—! I guess that fail-safe did come in handy. Both you and your brother are mine now. That's good. That's really good. Now, let's go and greet father and our guests now."

He told the pair and both Leo and Luna followed his will.

Soon, he saw the shopkeeper, Officer Henry, and his own father. His father looked relieved to see that the spell had been cast.

However, his father was mistaken about one thing here. The young master was not here to help him out. Rather, it was time for him to remove his father and take his place.

'My father has worked hard. But he's also a fool who cannot hold power and be responsible for it. It's finally time for me to step forward.'

"Leo, you found Luna…"

"Wait, shopkeeper, something is wrong. They both smell wrong. I also sense strong magic being cast around here."

Officer Henry stopped the shopkeeper, but the young master was no longer afraid of them or anyone else.

The young master asked Luna and she blinked slowly. The next second, Leo rushed toward the shopkeeper and Officer Henry.

Leo slammed Henry into the wall and the impact caused the wall to break. And suddenly, they were outside, fighting each other in the middle of nowhere.

"Ah, so this is the power of the Groove's ultimate weapon? It's rather…lackluster. But there's nothing to worry about. I am sure the weapon has even more power. I will take my time to slowly uncover it all."
