The young master sounded rather desperate as he tried to fight and break free from Henry's grip. He tried to run away, but Henry was not going to let him go so easily.
"Sorry, kid, but I am sure you are of age already. That's why I will be taking you into reforming custody, and you will be spending the next few years there."
Henry told the young master, and his eyes went wide and his face pale.
While they were dealing with that, I decided to check up on the other people around us.
Sir Freddy was unconscious, and he had lost too much blood. Had it been modern times, there might have still been a way to save him. But now it felt too late. Even checking the store for supplies felt like a waste.
So I closed his eyes and moved toward Leo. His body had been given a rather strong shock, but he looked alright. He had already recovered from the effects and was now unconscious.
Luna was in the best condition out of them all. She blinked and slowly looked around to try and guess where she was.
Her eyes landed on Leo not too far away, and all the sleep faded from her eyes as she headed toward him.
"Leo, what happened—! Is he alright? Oh god—! Is he hurt? W-What am I going to do? Where am I—?"
Luna seemed to not recall a single thing that happened as she looked around. Her eyes took in all the people around us before they landed on me, and she walked toward me.
"Shopkeeper, what happened—? Did I or Leo…"
I had a feeling what Luna wanted to ask, so I quickly shook my head to reassure her.
"Don't worry. None of what happened here is either your or Leo's fault. We even have Officer Henry as our witness, so you can relax. For now, let's bring Leo to a safe place he can rest at. I am sure the ground is not that comfortable to sleep on."
I told the female, and she nodded before she headed toward her brother.
She pushed his hand over her shoulder before she managed to pick his body up without fail. Then, she looked directly at me and asked me,
"Where should we head to, shopkeeper?"
I felt dumbfounded as I watched Luna carry Leo out. The guy was twice her size and likely weighed similarly as well.
'Tsk, how is everyone stronger than me in this timeline? Just what the heck do they eat to get like that?'
I felt jealous, but I quickly gathered myself and led Luna out.
"Come and follow me. The butler will show us the way to a safe room."
I turned toward the butler who had arrived during this ordeal, and he looked frozen as he watched us handle the situation. He felt awkward, not knowing what he should do next.
Since his livelihood was connected directly to the young master and Sir Freddy, he had been too afraid to make any moves. And as a result, he had lost his chance to do anything.
"I… please follow me. I will show you to the guest room. And Miss, please leave your brother to me. I will help him inside—"
The butler reached for Leo, but as soon as he tried to pull him along, he collapsed under Leo's weight.
'It feels nice to know that I am not the weak one here. The people around me are just extraordinarily strong.'
A wave of satisfaction went through me as I watched this before I recalled what I was here for.
Luna stepped forward and picked her brother back up. She gave the butler a sorry glance as she watched him struggling.
"I am sorry, but I do think it would be better for us all if I take my brother inside. You can head in first and show us the way."
Luna told the butler, and he looked relieved that he wouldn't have to bring the unconscious man in. The butler quickly gave a small bow as he left.
"You traitor—! So you have changed sides as soon as I fell? You will regret this—"
The young master yelled, only for Henry to push his face down.
"Stop yelling, kid. The only one in trouble here is you, and that would only get worse if you don't stop yelling now."
Henry was an intimidating man, with a huge height and bulk to match. He towered over everyone else, and the young master swallowed his nervousness as he watched the huge man handle him.
The poor kid was afraid, but even then, he did not mind his manners.
"Tsk, you think I am afraid of you? As if. You all will face huge trouble once I am out and can take control of my house. And you, officer, you better fear me because you will lose your job—"
"Kid, stop yapping. I am the current general. Do you really think you can threaten my job in any way?"
Henry told the kid, and the young master paled. He looked at Henry with wide eyes, clearly not believing what he said.
"Y-You are lying. And even if you are a general, you are not a noble like me. I will make sure the world knows that you are someone crazy, and I also—"
Henry decided he had enough. He pushed his hand over the kid's face to make him quiet down. The muffled voices were also quietened down by the officer before he turned toward me.
"Shopkeeper, I will take my leave now. I have spent a little too much time here. I will swing by your place later to give you a detailed report."
He promised before he took that kid back home kicking and dragging. I waved my hand as I watched them leave. Only then did I turn toward the butler and give him a glance.
"Please lead us to our room now. We should get Leo to safety."
