The beastly roar unleashed a shockwave so fierce that a sonic boom ripped through the air, crashing into the helicopters and hurling them backwards.

Immediately after,

THROOOOM!

THROOOOOM!

THROOOOOOM!

Bullets erupted from above and below, pouring down on the beast like a heavy rainstorm, yet they had all gravely underestimated its power.

For a second, it seemed as if they were winning as the beast was quickly forced on all fours, yet,

BOOOOOOOOM!

The ground where the beast stood collapsed, leaving a one-meter crater, its hulking form suddenly glitching away...and when it reappeared?

It was right behind one of the helicopters.

Its massive claws grabbed the helicopter's tail boom, and it spun it violently, smashing it into a second helicopter.

KAABOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Two helicopters were instantly wiped out, but it was only the beginning.

Landing with another heavy thump, it burst up into the sky once more, flashing like a blur, and three explosions burst through the world as the massive claws raked through the remaining choppers, blowing them to bits.

The Corer guards who had been shooting immediately bolted as the burning choppers came crashing down on them.

A fiery explosion erupted, blasting some of the guards violently into the distance.

BAAAAAAAANG!

Everlearn slammed back into the ground with a heavy thump, looking all around him.

There was none remaining standing but him.

The so-called checkpoints that he had been planning to sneak in were no more.

Debris of helicopters was around him, burning furiously as the Corers within them hurriedly tried to escape.

He looked at his claws, and for a while, a bit of shock radiated through him.

He had never thought himself capable of such destruction.

But still, he did not pause.

His hulking frame glitched once more, and he blasted through the revolving glass door of the Mechara buildings.

As expected, there were guards within, but each was shaking in terror with guns pointing at him, but he ignored them all, stepping forward until he reached the desk.

His eyes settled on a quivering staff lady with horror smeared over her face, and he grabbed her, asking:

"Where Is Monroe Durionyi?"

"15th floor! Her Base… 15th flo,"

She never completed those words before she fainted, and Everlearn dropped her back to the ground as she collapsed unconscious on the table.

His gaze turned upwards, and in the next moment, he fell once more on all fours.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The resulting explosion was enough to wipe the entire room, blowing everything out as Everlearn burst up through the floors.

The elevator was nothing compared to his true speed, and in 5 seconds, he completely ripped through fourteen floors, landing on the 15th floor on his last step.

The moment he stepped in, he glanced around, noticing the room was dark.

But at the far corner was a seat and a desk, where a figure sat with her back to him, watching a monitor that displayed footage of the destruction outside.

This was her, the one who Mecha Eva was reported to work for before her death, Monroe.

THUMP!

THUMP!

THUMP!

The sound of heavy thumping rang out as he stepped forward, and the chair also calmly swerved to face him.

"Huuuuuuu,"

What followed was a cloud of smoke blowing onto his face, as he found a woman with a smoking stick in her hands, her palms placed under her cheeks as she looked at him in amusement.

"You've been looking for me?"

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A Massive claw crashed down with terrifying power, shattering the ground beneath the seat before it even reached the target, yet...they never touched her.

BAAAAAAAAANG!

Right from the shadows, something slipped out.

Something that made Everlearn's eyes widen in shock.

It was a scythe, red in colour, that held his claws a few inches away from the woman.

RIIIIIIIIIIIP!

A second sound of slashing and Everlearn raised his other hand before his face as a blade cleaved through his skin, sending him skidding backwards.

He hit the ground on all fours fifteen meters away and lifted his gaze forward.

There, shrouded like a shadow, was a woman in black, her hoodie hiding every detail of her face.

But what was unmistakable were those flaming red eyes from beneath where her face would have been, and the scythe which she held in her hands, while another blade stuck out where her other arm ought to be.

She stood protectively before Monroe in a battle stance, but both women paused when,

"HAHAHAHA!"

A deep, rumbling laughter echoed through the world as the hulking golden beast rose to his feet, clutching his stomach as he laughed aloud.

His laughter continued, ringing for more than sixteen seconds before he forced himself to a stop.

A bizarre silence, THEN,

CREAAAAAAK!

The sound of neck creaking rang out, and he raised his head.

The battle stance of the one holding the scythe immediately tightened, while the one holding the cigar stick had it slip from her hands.

The monster had stood up, raising its neck to them, and they could see its face.

Red blood dripped from both eyes, eyes burning with rage.

Rage so ferocious that it sent their hearts exploding through their chests.

Yet what was absolutely unreasonable was the fact that, amidst all this, he had a smile on his face.

"I Was Afraid…"

Everlearn said, stepping forward as those scythes lit up with crimson energy.

"I Was Afraid You Had Died In A Hand That Wasn't Mine… Mecha Eva!"

He said, the name sending the crimson eyes beneath the robe, flickering.

They had marked her status as deceased, yet right now, standing before him, was the same person who had sent a scythe through his skull six months ago.

It was Mecha Eva.

"Who… are… you?"

A mechanical voice rang out from beneath the dark robe, and Everlearn raised his head.

He fought to stay composed but failed, and when he looked back, his golden maw had widened to his ears, twisted into a chilling, malevolent grin.

"Your Death!"

He responded, and in the next moment,

Activate All Battle Technique!

Activate Core!

Activate Mech Copy Ability!

In the next instant, all sound vanished from the world as Everlearn stepped forward.
