Hand clenched around the scythe, he swung at her ruined corpse over and over, again and again, until there was nothing left for the blade to slash.

It flashed, and that was the confirmation Everlearn took of her death.

The scythe dropped from his hands, splintering into pieces from the cracks, and Everlearn collapsed on his butt, his back resting against the wall.

He had done it!

The revenge for one who had rewarded him giving his all, with a scythe through his head, and brutally murdered those he considered work companions.

He had succeeded in giving her a taste of her own Medicine.

Though this was his first time killing a human.

He felt nothing at all.

No remorse, no pity, neither did he feel any hate or wrongdoing for killing her.

He waited for about 30 seconds to catch his breath before rising to his feet.

Without looking back at what remained of Mecha Eva, Everlearn was about to jump when he paused as the notification flashed.

It said, and Everlearn activated Illumino transformation before jumping off the ground.

Landing on the wall, he rushed forward on all fours, the world growing brighter and brighter before he jumped out of the hole, arriving in the sky.

But the second he did, his eyes widened, finding his face right before the tip of an incoming missile.

It exploded right atop Everlean's forehead, followed by the sound of his skull fracturing, and a head-splitting headache.

He was blown backwards uncontrollably, but then,

He felt something slamming into his back, the cracking noise of his own spine and he was roughly blown away.

Three craters opened in the ground as he tumbled rapidly, finally slamming into a mountain that managed to halt his momentum.

He slid down its hard surface, landing on both knees before falling on his arms.

Red blood burst out of his lips as he coughed blood mixed with tiny parts of his tissues, coughing out uncontrollably for about 10 seconds before he finally paused.

He heard footsteps echoing and raised his head to find four figures standing before him.

The first thing he noticed was their heights.

The shortest of them was well over three meters, wearing pitch-black robes that swallowed all light around them, with an emblem of lightning by the shoulder.

There were four men, with one holding an eye-catching bazooka over his shoulder.

Everlearn recognised him to be the one who had sent that missile that had hit him in the face.

The fifth person was a woman with crimson red hair, with her gloved hands folded into a fist, with one of them steaming red-hot smoke.

She was the one who had punched him from behind, fracturing his spine.

One of them, the tallest, stepped closer to Everlearn, stretching out his hands, which held an ID card that he showed to him.

"I'm Arslan Rodigerox."

"Head of Squad B, Corer Takedown Group from CHO, the military force responsible for regulating Corers and fights for Human Protection," he said, taking back his ID.

"You have been charged with unlawful entrance into the Mechara Organisation, destroying properties worth up to hundreds of millions of Nvdollars whilst bringing a serious threat to the lives of more than a hundred human guards under full use of Corer power."

"Finally and most grievous, the death of another Corer named Eva Aramitsche."

He said, and a grin lined Everlearn's maw.

"So you know her name, huh?"

He asked, the sound of bones crackling as he forced his broken spine to place.

"The one I killed is a mass murderer, working under one of the 7 heads of the Mechara Organisation. If you know her name, then you must know that," he replied.

"It is not in my or your place to call anyone a murderer. That finality can only be determined by the judges in CHO."

"Our mission here is to bring you back to the CHO base for your trial."

He said, and Everlearn paused quietly for a while.

Silence descended.

A terrifying, chilling silence, and in the next moment.

A terrifying pressure radiated from him, his massive frame growing even larger with squirming golden veins, as he snapped his head upward, insane torrents of golden light gushing from his eyes.

"When I Place You An Inch Away From The Stairs of Death, And You Watch Your Life Slipping Beyond Your Control, Doing Everything To Take It back, Yet Failing, "

"Then, You Will Understand Whether It Is In Your Place To Call Me A Murderer or Not!"

He roared out, and the one holding the bazooka immediately acted, pointing it down towards Everlearn and pulling the trigger.

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The missile moved with devastating speed, yet the one who shot it had his eyes widen when he saw that the claws grabbed at the missile, rotating with speed, and the missile was instantly turned back to him.

It flashed forward with crazy speed, slamming straight into the man, who quickly blocked with the bazooka, crossing over himself.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A terrifying explosion of energy unfurled, blowing him back with intense speed as he disappeared into the distance.

The others immediately jumped away, but Everlearn followed after one of them, appearing right before him, Arslan.

His green eyes stared directly into the golden eyes of the monster, unruflled by the rage brimming within them, and he spoke.

"You have resisted the CHO's Order, hence will now be subjected to forceful captu.."
