The Rise of Quetzalcoatl

Chapter 313: Tolf Leader: Ethel (1)

Even the maids surrounding the table couldn't help but take a step back in fear, thinking that they may be devoured along with my rampage.

But once this mind-shreddingly painful hunger had disappeared, I found myself lying in the arms of my aunt, who was surprisingly in robes.

She was always in quite revealing clothing, but it seemed she had just got back from an icy place as if she had gone to visit one of my parents.

"You stink," She laughed out loud, but I was exhausted to even say anything back, which she immediately noticed. "Alright, honey, let's get you bathed, and then we'll send you off. According to Miss stick-up-her-ass Lucy, you are running behind schedule,"

As Auntie carried me, I made sure to check my new status, which didn't surprise me in the slightest.

『Status』

[Passive: [Fire and Lava Immunity] [Illusion Resistance]

"Unfair… mom gets an increase in her stats each time she levels up… but I gotta deal with it each time I evolve…." I pouted, staring at my three new skills, which seemed decently useful.

[Knightly Aura] was quite obvious as to what it created, but the use was more of an offensive material I could manipulate and control to my liking.

[Knightly Body Enhancement] improved my speed and strength by quite a drastic amount, though if used for too long, the deactivation process could cause your muscles to cramp, and apparently, that pain is absolutely horrible, according to some of my previous knights.

And finally, there was the [Knightly Mind Controller], which was most likely linked to my lineage with mommy since she was some kind of succubus hybrid thing.

I'd never encountered such a skill before, but I could only assume what it did for now as I was escorted to a private teleporter and had the coordinates set almost immediately.

"Here is your luggage, Young Miss," My maids muttered as they brought everything I needed and bought during my trip here.

The room we were in was quite dull to say the least… for a parting goodbye, I expected something a bit grander, but I guess you can't have everything in life.

Uncle soon came to say goodbye, and after a long hug, he ruffled my hair and stepped off of the teleporter.

"Is… Auntie Celestine coming?" I asked as I wanted to see her at least one more time, but instead of Clio responding, the sword slung across my waist shimmered every so slightly.

I couldn't help but smile as I ran my hand across the soft and sleek metal.

"Is that answer enough for you?" Clio chuckled, and as she waved goodbye, the world around me began to turn to white, and a new beautiful sight revealed itself to me.

It was so beautiful I almost began to tear up, but before I could even tell what was happening, the place we had teleported to had its doors flung open, the windows I had been gazing out of shattering upon impact.

"Goddammit… that woman… I thought intruders broke in," A tomboyish voice sighed, and when I swiveled my head around, I saw a woman with long blue hair.

Her was so graceful and soft that it just barely swept the edges of her waist, with her pale-white skin only accentuating that light blue color infused into her hair follicles.

It shimmered so unnaturally that any person would think this hair had been dyed… but I knew this was her natural hair color.

Her eyes were like that of a busy coral reef, swimming with life.

But, what really caught my attention after her hair were those flawless legs seemingly sculpted by the gods to create the perfect body.

It was plump but not so plump that it would get in the way of battle… and the same was with the rest of her body… it was as if it had been sculpted for not only looks but also battle.

"If you've come to touch my thighs, then I'm sending you back to your mother," The woman commented, slowly walking up to me and absolutely towering over me.

She had to be at least 6'3, just a bit taller than mommy, who seemed to be about 6'2.

"O-Oh, sorry… I-I was just a bit taken aback by not only the view but also you… you're so pretty!" I shouted, my eyes glistening with excitement.

"Thank you, but the only one touching my body is Athena," She smirked before gesturing for me to follow after her.

As we walked through this massive palace, I looked through the large windows and onto the city around me.

It was held underwater, encapsulated, and protected by a thick bubble of glass, seemingly blocking out any sea monster or threat from attacking the city held deep beneath the ocean.

I had done a bit of research, but the photos online could not do this place even a sliver of justice… it was just too grand.

The city might not be anywhere as big as that desert city I was in previously, but I'd argue it was much more appealing to look at.

The water was so clear on the outside of the bubble you'd think we were in a museum rather than an aquarium.

"Sweetie, no touching the glass," The woman muttered, pulling me out of my trance as I had been hypnotized by the beautiful sight held out on a platter for me.

"S-Sorry, Auntie Ethel,"

The woman seemed pleased that I knew her name already and as we continued our walk down the palace, I found myself becoming more and more intrigued with this wonderful underwater city.

"This place is gonna be fun,"
