"Mr. Grey, you just mentioned something about the High Order, right?"

Alex carefully approached Grey and inquired.

He was extremely observant, and being close to Grey, he could hear everything that had happened.

Besides, Evolvers had sharp hearing, even if he hadn't been close, he would still have heard them perfectly.

Grey turned to Alex upon hearing him and waved his hand. Instantly, one of the Abyssal Transformation Pills floated beside Alex under Grey's control.

"Try sending your True Energy into that pill," Grey said casually, waiting for Alex to inspect it.

Alex did as Grey instructed after a moment of hesitation, and as soon as his True Energy erupted from him, it flowed straight into the pill.

The next instant, the pill vibrated slightly, and a red and black energy erupted from it.

"This… is this Corruption Energy?" Alex was stunned. "The High Order!"

His expression changed drastically.

He knew about the High Order's ability to control Corruption Fields. This news had been trending everywhere in the southern region ever since the incident in Nova City, which was located on the other side of the southern region.

"What?!" The onlooking Evolvers immediately had a change of expression when they saw this scene.

They too had heard everything and had been waiting for answers from Grey until now.

But the answer was very clear.

"The High Order?!"

A collective gasp spread through the trial ground.

"Wait, what? Interwire's colluding with the High Order?"

The Interwire Company was colluding with the High Order!

"They're one of the ruling forces of Ashspire City!" one of the Evolvers said in fear. "Doesn't that mean the city is already in danger?"

It was a possibility no one could ignore.

"But wait, what if it was just Anderson and his subordinates? One banana going bad doesn't make the others impossible to eat!"

They glanced at the person who spoke and then at Grey. Indeed, that was also a possibility, just because three of them had gone bad didn't mean the entire company was corrupted.

At this, Grey laughed softly. He turned to the corpse of the Interwire Company Evolver he had eliminated earlier, took the spatial ring from his hand, and waved his hand. The seal on the ring broke instantly, and from it emerged many herbs and items, but one particular item stood out. Without a doubt, it was another Abyssal Transformation Pill.

"Even he has it," Alex mumbled.

There was no need to inquire any further.

It was clear to everyone now that the Interwire Company was indeed colluding with the High Order.

Three could be a coincidence, but a fourth time? That was impossible.

They all turned to Grey, looking at him in a new light.

His actions now appeared more justified to them.

From the way he had acted and kept to himself, it was clear that he already knew about this.

"Mr. Grey, did you already know about this?" Alex asked in a serious tone.

To this, Grey merely shrugged.

"Was that why the Interwire Company targeted you?" Alex asked thoughtfully after piecing everything together.

"You can say it that way," Grey nodded.

The real reason, however, was most likely because he had been discovered by the High Order. He was definitely on their hit list.

After all, he had directly eliminated an Abyssal being before, and they were the ones who had forged the fake video about him. It would have been more bizarre if he hadn't been under their radar. Now that they had found him, they had sent the Interwire Company to eliminate him.

Grey didn't really care much, though. He walked the streets of Ashspire City unbothered because he wasn't afraid of the High Order. He was no longer the old Grey, a weak fellow who couldn't defend himself against them.

That said, he turned to Alex and spoke. "You guys might want to prepare yourselves when you leave the secret realm. Things won't be looking good. You might even get killed the instant you leave, depending on who you are and what your status is."

"What?" Alex frowned. "What could that mean, Mr. Grey? Could the High Order..."

"You'll see." Grey simply smiled. "If you see anyone from the Ardent family or the Interwire Company, directly eliminate them."

The intention behind Grey's words was clear, they both had fallen under the High Order's influence.

Everyone's hearts sank when they heard this.

Then, amidst everyone's gazes, Grey rose into the air.

"He's flying!"

One of the Evolvers said, dumbfounded.

Even Alex was shocked.

"I'll be leaving for the inheritance ground now," Grey said with a grin.

Taking a step forward, a sonic boom erupted, and his figure shot off toward the central mountain amidst the shocked expressions of everyone.

Grey shot through the sky of the secret realm and swiftly descended onto the central mountain. He felt the ripple of a barrier formation as soon as he crossed it, and once he landed, he stood before a massive door.

The door was almost a hundred times taller than Grey and had intricate golden patterns embedded across its surface. Right in the lower half of the door was an empty round slot.

The space was clearly meant for the two trial discs.

Grey strode over and took out both discs. He placed one in, and immediately, one side of the door's golden patterns lit up.

Upon seeing this, he placed the other one. Instantly, the other side of the door also lit up.

Rumble!

The ground beneath the door shook violently as it began to open bit by bit.

Once it opened, Grey's expression turned strange.

"It's a spatial distortion," Grey mumbled in surprise.

The opened door now had a crack in the center, with a whirlpool of spatial distortion swirling within it.

There was no doubt about it, this was a spatial distortion similar to a secret realm.

"It's time to enter." Grey immediately stepped forward.

The inheritance ground was open, and if his calculations were correct, things were already beginning to unfold in the city. Hence, without wasting any time, he entered the inheritance ground.
