Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 178: Province meeting (5)

The law of Hongmeng, Grey was naturally aware of its existence and just from the little insight he received, he could tell that this law was far superior to whatever he had right now.

Of course, since it was picked up by his ability, it meant it could be comprehended.

And he could use Lia's help to comprehend it faster.

At the same time, it also made him curious, this law was something related to the gods, if that was the case, was there a law related to the nexus.

Grey believed there might actually be something like that, he just hadn't sensed it or realized its existence yet. He had already decided to research the laws once he was done with all the city lord stuff, he would lock himself inside the mansion till he created a transformation and maybe even find the nexus law.

That matter aside, Grey thought that it was likely that Little Hong was related to the gods before, but now hearing things from Lia confirmed it.

Lia saw an axe when she awakened and Little Hong was quite literally the consciousness of some axe.

And from what Lia said, she started feeling strange and seeing weird dreams when she reached Three Guards Province. And the Three Guards Province was close to Ashspire City where the secret realm was in.

It did not take him much thinking to connect all the dots.

"If I'm not wrong the reason you awakened is most likely due to Little Hong." Grey conveyed his thoughts to Lia.

"I think so too." Lia nodded. "Before awakening I sensed something from the south of the city lord mansion, that is where Ashspire City was at."

"Brother Grey, what exactly is Little Hong? I feel a strange sense of familiarity when I look at her."

"All I know about her is that she is the so-called axe's consciousness." Grey shook his head. "As for what axe, I don't know, maybe it is something related to the gods."

At the same time, Grey posed another question. "Did you awaken any sort of memories? Like something related to the gods?"

To this, Lia immediately nodded.

"Yes. I saw things related to the gods." Lia thought for a moment and spoke.

"Aside from the axe, I also saw other strange dreams, dreams about a timeless place, in that world time doesn't exist and everything there was extremely glitchy almost like I cannot observe the things in the world."

Grey's expression changed drastically when he heard her words, although he knew gods did not originate from Blue Star, he did not expect this.

"A timeless place you say?" Grey was serious.

What did a place without time signify?

It has to be mentioned, the entire universe is the product of time and space, take out time and the universe will cease to exist.

And Lia actually dreamt of a place with no concept of time.

Grey was stunned.

Maybe he had underestimated the gods a bit too much, he thought they were most likely in the same universe.

But after listening to Lia's words Grey was certain.

These so-called gods lived in a world that transcends the concept of time and space.

'Are they actually higher dimensional beings?' Grey wondered.

"That's right, a timeless world that seemed endless, but I couldn't make things out properly, the current me is incapable of making out what is up there."

Then she paused and as if she thought of something, she spoke. "Grey, this world isn't the only one which exists."

This was something she saw when she awakened.

She saw countless worlds.

The amount was so massive the mere thought stunned her into silence.

"This world of ours is massive." She added. "The planet we live on is but a speck of sand compared to the bigger world out there and from the foreign information I received, they call this place the starry sky."

Grey raised an eyebrow hearing about this.

"You received information about the starry sky?"

"That is correct." Lia nodded. "Do you know anything about the starry sky Brother Grey?"

From the way he spoke, Lia caught it quickly.

"I do." Grey poured himself a cup of wine and spoke. "The senior you met in the city lord mansion and the AI you are closely familiar with, Eterna, is also from the starry sky."

"What?" Lia was astonished.

Grey didn't mind revealing it to her, since she knew about the starry sky, it was only natural that he told her about it.

He also wanted to see her reaction to everything, the huge conspiracy which was the Blue Star.

"Then. Since Eterna is from the starry sky. Why isn't there any information related to this?"

Lia was someone who, while not aware of everything, still knew what was important and what was not, hence, she was certain that there was no news or anything related to the starry sky known or available.

In fact, if there were, then she herself would've known about it prior to this.

It was almost as if someone was deliberately hiding the information about the starry sky.

"Your thinking is correct." Grey already knew what was on her mind. "The information related to the starry sky is deliberately hidden by the federation and Eterna."

"What caused them to hide away things related to it?" Lia was confused and at the same time serious.

To conceal everything related to the starry sky to the point the natives of this world did not even know what the sun and moon were was definitely very suspicious.

Lia herself knew about the stars in the starry sky, to be more accurate, she now knew everything about the starry sky, ranging from what a black hole is to even what a supernova was, all the relevant information appeared in her mind as if these were something she should know about.

"The reason, huh?" Grey had not thought that far yet, but it was obvious as to why it was concealed.

People of Blue Star could not leave the planet due to the curse, Since that was the case, there was no point in revealing things about the starry sky.

Knowing things about a place that you could never reach would only make the public more agitated and in the end, spill more disaster.

Hence, the best decision was to keep things related to the starry sky under wraps.

But he was not sure if he should reveal this to Lia or not.

He did not reveal it to the immortal lady either.

Only by breaking the walls that covered the Statcrest Continent would he reveal it to others. To be more accurate, he would only gain more confidence to reveal it to others once he broke the barrier put down by brandon and went to the world beyond.

"Who knows." Grey lied. "Maybe Eterna might have an answer, but I have personally asked her and she said she will only reveal it once I reach fourth rank citizenship."

"How long have you known about this Grey?" Lia was numb at this point.

He knew everything and anything, she herself learned about the starry sky only thanks to her own godly powers.

But that could not be said the same for Grey.

She honestly doubted if he was from the starry sky and was someone who reincarnated.

"I know what you're thinking." Grey laughed. "But no, I'm not some old monster from the starry sky, I'm the same age as you."
