Wizard: I Have a Game Panel

Chapter 149: Act One Spine-Chilling

As soon as he clicked in, a line of large characters appeared before Lor's eyes.

"Light of Truth" Act One: The Fall of the Gods.

When the subtitles faded, a middle-aged man in gray clothes, with a determined face, appeared on the screen.

Lor naturally recognized him; he was the current first wizard of the Wizard Alliance, Francis.

"I have broken through the Fifth Ring, it's time to launch the final battle."

Francis looked up at the sky, whispering softly, "Amy, go notify them."

After Francis spoke, the camera zoomed out, revealing a blue-haired, beautiful woman in a purple long dress on the screen.

As Amy appeared, a solitary bullet comment floated across the screen.

'Wow, so beautiful!'

"Yes, Master Francis." Amy bowed, then transformed into lightning and shot up into the sky.

This scene, according to Lor's calculation, should have happened more than a thousand years ago.

Back then, there were no Wizard Towers or Continent Communication Devices, nothing of the Wizard Alliance.

Divine beings resided in the Divine Kingdom, overlooking the mortal world.

Under the oppression of the gods, the wizards had to hide, and if they were accidentally exposed, it would immediately invite divine retribution.

On the screen, scenes quickly flashed by.

Yasen walking through a sea of fire, Jerald strolling in the deep sea, Theo Meiris bathing in lightning—these elemental mages appeared first.

Soon after, a huge creature, nearly three thousand miles large with a dragon's head and scales, yet resembling a bear in body shape, appeared on the screen.

Another bullet comment floated across the top of the screen.

'Damn, what is that? Scared me.'

Normally, seeing this comment would make Lor smile knowingly.

But now, his focus was solely on one thing.

Had his anomaly been discovered?

The screen continued flashing scenes.

When all twenty-two Fifth-Ring Mages had appeared, the screen transitioned to the Divine Realm Layer.

Various Elemental Domains covered thousands of miles, with elemental giants casting spells, bombarding some invisible barriers.

Terrifying beasts also attacked the invisible barriers with claws or breath.

In an instant, cracks appeared in those barriers, revealing the varied Divine Kingdoms within.

The enraged gods emerged from their realms to battle the wizards.

A never-ending battle spanning over a thousand years was summarized in five minutes in the CG.

As some gods fell, or forcefully consumed believers' souls to strike back, the era of the gods came to an end.

Seeing this, Lor held his breath.

Whether he had been discovered or not, would soon be revealed.

The next moment, the screen switched scenes.

An old-fashioned room appeared on the screen.

The most noticeable thing in the room was the large bed, with a young man lying on it, bewilderedly looking around.

"Creak—"

Upon seeing the young man, Lor clenched his fists tightly, feeling a chill down his spine.

That youth was the very person he had just transmigrated into.

As the boy appeared, the screen darkened, showing "End of Act One".

Staring at the black screen, Lor could not regain his composure for a long time.

"What is destined to come, cannot be avoided," sighed Lor after some time with a bitter smile.

If everything was as he suspected, he should already be under surveillance.

"Things might not be that bad. If that Sequencer really had the power to deal with me, they would've acted already."

Lor tried to calm himself, thoughts swirling in his mind, "Given the current situation, I should be safe for now, but how long that lasts is uncertain."

"I must do everything I can to become stronger and prepare for the dreadful Sequencer."

Lor pondered the methods to accelerate his growth, finally focusing on the insight of the Sequence Panel.

Other methods required time to accumulate; this thing, though its specific use was still unknown, should prove very useful as it was the only function on the Sequence Panel.

However, to figure out the use of insight, he needed to obtain source points for testing.

"Source points and Magic Crystals can't recharge the origin, let's try other things first," Lor directed his Spiritual Power into the Space Ring, testing materials like Divine Power Crystals, Abyss Crystals, and other energy-containing components from demons.

Regrettably, none worked.

After reaching this stage in his testing, he had a premonition that the origin was likely related to players.

Otherwise, the Sequencer wouldn't have made such a fuss with "Light of Truth".

Still, Lor was unwilling to stop trying to collect every energy-containing material in the Wizard World.

"Let Kateya issue some tasks to try gathering," Lor decided, immediately taking out the Continent Communication Device to contact Kateya.

The communication connected.

"Lord Lor, what can I do for you?" Kateya asked, bowing slightly in the light screen.

"Help me issue a task: collect one of each energy-containing material," Lor said, "If the contribution points aren't enough, use Magic Crystals to exchange for them."

"Oh, and don't collect materials from demons or Divine Power, Abyss Crystals."

"Yes, Lord Lor," Kateya replied.

"Okay, go ahead." Lor nodded, ending the communication, and then flipped through the Continent Communication Device to find Ron's contact and sent a communication request.

Since players' arrival was confirmed, he should discuss land exchanges with Ron, recruiting mortals with Meditation Talent, and founding factions.

Founding a faction could allow apprentices to learn Space Faction Witchcraft and achieve the Third Ring, then help him find Space Runes.

Before reaching the Third Ring, they could also assist in uncovering the few unexploited Space Runes.

Such as the 'Barrier', another potential Space Rune during the ascension of Void Realm Witchcraft from the Adaptive Rock Barrier Spell.

Furthermore, if he could recruit some geniuses, he would offer directional guidance and some resources for other Space Witchcraft experiments.

Once truly fused and ascended, new Space Runes could also be obtained.

If any genius wanted to research something new themselves, he wouldn't stop them; this might even inspire the creation of Fourth-Ring Space Witchcraft.

Counting the benefits of founding a faction, they were numerous and all very beneficial for Lor, necessitating an early decision.

The only downside was the temporary halt in constructing the Wizard Tower because the Fourth Ring Mages responsible for linking the Continent Defense Shield and constructing the Wizard Tower hadn't returned yet.

This issue wasn't urgent for him; he could wait patiently.

As Lor's mind raced, the communication with Ron that he initiated connected, and a light screen appeared.
