Leo snapped his fingers, and returned to the Necropolis Ship. The party was over! It was time to find out what was going on.

He pinpointed the ship's tracking system to the ship that was escorting Yelina, keeping an eye on where she was going.

Meanwhile, inside a burning building, a young man was standing in the middle of a room. His figure was completely invisible to the naked eye.

Within the invisibility of clothes, his expressions were the worst they could be as he looked out the window at five people that looked like they were waiting for the survivors to run out.

He stood in the burning building with his hands behind his back. The flames were causing havoc, and even some part of the building had started falling down.

"Is this how I die?" Picollo mumbled, as a self deprecating smile spread on his lips. "There was so much that I wanted to do. Is this all that was written on my fate?"

He looked at his phone, and there was still no signal for him to call for help.

"To think that I can't even send one last message to Yelina and Lord Leo."

On the device, he had written only a few lines. There was nothing about asking for help or revenge. He only asked Leo for one thing.

"I'm sorry for failing you. It was my mistake that I didn't take precautions and let so many people die. I will take responsibility and accept my death gracefully to make up for it."

"I wish you well, Lord Leo. Whatever I received was because of you. The time I spent with Alpha Labs was the happiest time of my life, which I will embrace until my last breath."

"So even if I'm not here, I hope you won't stop chasing after your goals. You must stay safe! Be careful of the Lionel Family! I will pray for you from the afterlife..."

Meanwhile outside the building, the five men were still waiting in silence. They had their eyes closed, only focusing on their heightened sense to capture even the slightest movement in sound frequency.

He looked above, and saw a few helicopters that belonged to media houses, which were capturing and reporting on the flames at Alpha Labs Headquarters.

Some of their cameras also kept shifting at five people standing before the burning building, but they couldn't see their faces properly.

It made most of them wonder if they were researchers of Alpha Lab that had managed to escape, so they didn't question it much.

In another part of the world, even the Hero Tower had received the news. The visuals were being played on all major media channels, and almost all the heroes were watching the screen.

The only exception was Blaze and the other top ranking heroes that were already entering their ships to check things in person.

On one side, the top heroes were arriving. On the other hand, the last researcher of Alpha Lab to be outside, Yelina was arriving. And lastly, the person who owned it all... Leo was arriving, realising the destination of Yelina from her ship's trajectory .

Leo quickly changed the videos on the screen to display the Alpha Labs, praying that he was simply overthinking things. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

His worst fears came true as he saw the Alpha Labs Building on fire.

"What?!"

He quickly stood up and snapped his fingers to check the place in person, especially the five figures that he had also assigned to be researchers from the lab that were watching their home burn.

As the spatial element surrounded his body, he started disappearing. And in the next moment, the well dressed man appeared before the burnt building. He stood between the flames and the five men.

He looked back, and asked, "How did this happen? Did an experiment go wrong?'

Unfortunately, his expressions soon changed as he finally saw the faces of those five people. They weren't researchers of Alpha Lab. In fact, they weren't even humans; each of them had dual pupils in each eye.

"Is he also a part of this lab?" One of the strangers asked.

"Since he is so worried about them, he must be," another man answered. It's good that we won't have to search around for remnants anymore. Let's end this pathetic existence as well."

The red haired man took the lead and snapped his fingers. And just like the first person in the lab had died, Leo also started feeling a strange feeling of heat from his body, as if his blood had started burning.
