Voldred, the Monarch of the Ancient House of Necropolis. Selene, the Monarch of the Ancient House of Seraphim. And Yvenol, the Monarch of the Ancient House of Nephilim.
The rumours had spread far and wide that the three ancient powerhouses were globe to attend the auction.
Many people in the auction house were waiting to catch a single glimpse of the three rulers.
In fact, the Auction House Owners were waiting outside the special entrance, expecting the three monarchs. And as soon as Selene arrived, the owner of the Auction House immediately fell on his knees.
"This slave greets Ancient Monarch Selene!" He slammed his head hard on the ground as he welcomed Selene.
Behind Selene and her daughter, there were five women, each with wings as black as the abyss.
Their eyes were covered in a black cloth, making it impossible for them to see with their naked eyes. Yet, no one doubted that they could see more than what eyes could.
They were the personal guardians of Selene, each being stronger than even the Lords of High Planets.
Normally, it was a rule that each family had to leave their guests outside, but the rule didn't apply to those that were assigned private guards.
Even if that wasn't the case, no one was foolish enough to question Selene on this. They didn't have a death wish.
"Enough with the faux gestures. Tell me if the other two Monarchs have arrived?" Selene asked, walking past the man whose head was still on the ground.
"Not yet. There's still time to the Auction," the man answered, as he slowly raised his head.
He kept his hands joined together as he followed Selene like a dog wagging his tail. It was literally the case since the man did have a fluffy fox tail coming out of his back.
"Hoh, the old witch is already here?" As Selene was about to enter the auction house, a voice came from behind.
An overwhelming presence had arrived, which made even Selene's daughter grow pale.
It was the Monarch of Nephilim, the land of giants. At the moment, he looked like an ordinary human, albeit one with lots of muscles. However, many people knew that this wasn't the real form of Yvenol.
He was someone who could change his shape and form at will. If he wanted, he could grow so big that he could stomp on this entire planet with a single foot.
In this universe, those from the House of Necropolis were huge. But if there was any existence that could be even larger than them, it was the giants from Nephilim.
"Speak of the devil, and he arrives." Selene lightly waved her hand, making Yvenol's pressure disappear from her surroundings, helping her daughter breathe easy.
"Is that your son?" Selene asked, her gaze focusing on the young man behind Yvenol.
Her eyes shone in a mysterious light and the man immediately froze in place, as if he had seen his death.
"To think that you fall for such tricks. You have a lot to learn, little brat," Yvenol slapped the back of his son's head, almost making him stumble and fall face first. Fortunately, that slap did bring him back to his senses.
Yvenol didn't say anything to Selene. In his eyes, it was his son's fault for being weak. He simply spread his arms and looked at the beautiful sky.
"How long has it been since I last came out for fresh air? It feels so refreshing!" he exclaimed with a look of enjoyment. "What a pity that it won't stay refreshing when those stinky undead from Necropolis arrive."
"This slave greets Lord Yvenol, monarch of Nephilim!"
Once again the owner of the Auction House slammed his head on the ground, greeting Yvenol. At this point, his forehead was already bleeding.
Then again, his heart was bleeding even more. If it was up to him, he wouldn't even hold this auction. He would just give this lotus to a monarch right away.
There was only one problem. Three monarchs wanted it, so if he gave it to one, the other two were going to come for him. So he could only hold this auction and let them settle it amongst themselves.
For now, he could only blame that young man who brought this Celestial Lotus to him for auction.
He even wondered where that young man was at the moment, since he was yet to arrive at the auction.
The undead from Necropolis were also nowhere to be seen, even though it was rumoured that they were the most desperate for it.
Meanwhile, at the port of regular entry, more and more guests kept arriving. Even a delegation from earth had arrived.
Glitzy's Owner wasn't far behind either, as he also wanted to experience this once in a lifetime event.
Amidst the crowd passing through security like commoners, was a young man who looked as thin as a stick. If Leo was here, he would have easily recognized that young man as his old friend that had a habit of being kidnapped all the time.
Timmy looked like he really wanted to cry as he accompanied a pale faced young man, who was sporting a disguise.
"Your Majesty, should we really attend this event? It's said that your father might be attending in person." A man in the back whispered in Kaelus's ears.
"Hah, do you believe the rumours? Do you think my father, or anyone would actually come to buy a freaking Celestial Lotus of all things? Hahahaha, you're so naive!"
Kaelus burst into laughter. His loud laugh disturbed the nearby people but he didn't care.
"Uhh, Mr. Kaelus... Can I ask you a question?" Timmy suddenly asked.
"Hmmm, go ahead?"
"W-why are you taking me everywhere with you? Why don't you just let me return home?"
"Hmm? Is that even a question? It's because I have selected you. Since I lost Leo and can't go back to him for now, who else but you can keep me entertained."
"I need someone to play the protagonist. And who else but your weak self is suitable? Since I can't help him, I'll help you." Kaelus proudly stated.
"This auction will be where you make your grand entry, establishing yourself. And I'll help you. Just leave everything to me!"
"Leave everything to you?" Timmy mumbled.
'Didn't Leo leave everything to you? As a result, his villa was destroyed and I was kidnapped.' He thought. 'Are you sure I can leave everything to you? Why don't I find it convincing?'
He looked like he wanted to cry. 'I miss Leo! He was bad luck, but he was so much better than this strange person! I want to go home! Leo, where are you!'
....
While the Auction House owner, Timmy and many others were wondering about Leo's whereabouts, the young man in question was doing something of his own.
"Tch, the auction will be starting soon. Fortunately, my item is going to be sold last. If I handle everything fast, I should be there on time!"
At the moment, Leo was standing outside the branch of Lionel Family's Bank, two rings shining brightly on his fingers.
