Villain's transmigration: Breaking every heroine into a Yandere

Chapter 61: 10km completed

Multiple families have been wiped out in a single night, from the attacks of the Netherkins.

No one knows how they come, no one knows when the portal will open, but when it does, it only brings destruction.

And strangely enough, some portals have weak nether kins while some have so many and so powerful kins that they are enough to wipe out a behemoth in this world.

'Like Rose's, Iceveil's household was also destroyed. Anyone who gets closer to reaching the mystery of Netherkins... they won't survive to see the next light.'

Everyone knows the night when it happened, so Wasker's reaction was natural.

"Lady Niva is still alive?"

It was unbelievable for him. As everyone knows, no one from the Iceveil family survived that incident.

'Of course she is alive. She is the main heroine of my story after all.'

"Yes, she is," Noah responded calmly.

This news was something that would have only been revealed much later on.

To be honest, few people knew about the survival of Niva, but that included only the higher echelon, including Drever.

Even though, he knew she was alive. He did not do anything to protect her; in fact, he even ignored her and did not care for her survival at all.

The reason nobody else involved themselves when something like that happened was that they did not wish to have that curse fall on them.

If a family were as powerful as Iceveil could fall, then obviously, they would have a similar fate.

Even Eleanor did not do anything at that time, but she couldn't stop herself when it happened again and protected Rose, due to her regret for Niva.

After that, she sent people to look for Niva, in the hope of protecting her, but till now she couldn't find her. Only after she joined the academy was Eleanor able to know what she had been through.

That was probably the only regret she had in her life. She wasn't able to protect her soon to be daughter in law, all because of her own foolishness that she believed in everyone else.

However, it is still a question if she will accept her as her daughter-in-law now that a lot has changed, but one thing is for sure, she will still protect her.

"Here is what I want you to do..."

He then explained what he wanted from him. A plan to sabotage his mc, and if he could... finish him off.

Niva is going to the academy on foot, so it will take her almost 6 days to get there, right on time.

He and Noelle will be going with their flying ships.

Yeah, that's a thing here. Run by mana stones, they travel much faster than fighter jets.

It was around 3 days before Niva reached the academy when she was attacked by the bandits in the story.

The MC, also going to the academy, spots her and jumps in to help her.

This will be the moment from which the story will change.

He planned to send 4 knights in total, including Wasker.

One of the knights will join the bandits and attack Niva, and when mc joins... the knight will also join the battle and attack him, without holding back at all.

The chances are, the MC will survive for sure, obviously due to plot armour, but if he couldn't... then that's that. No more problem.

'No matter what, it's unlikely that he can survive an attack from a knight from the Core Expansion realm. But something of logic has never been applied to someone chosen by the author.'

Even though he was the author, and yet, it was ridiculous that he couldn't kill him.

"Also..."

He then continued,

"If you guys can't kill him or something protects him during that battle, then just stop and jump into the battle to save them."

There won't be any point in continuing that battle if they can't kill the MC.

So, rather than save them and escort them to the academy, as well as clean his image before his fiancée.

As famous as he is for being the hard nut, Niva doesn't hold any good feelings for him.

But suddenly, something else struck him, and he added, "However, do that only if the knight joined in as a bandit is alive and just injured. If he kills him with a single move..."

He glared intensely at Wasker and spoke in a cold tone,

"Then YOU... join in and kill that bastard, no matter what."

'If he doesn't kill that knight, then it will only be a dragged-out battle with no end, and that person will protect him no matter what.'

But if it comes to the situation where that knight is killed in a single attack then it only means that 'it' used its power and won't be able to launch another attack again.

Unless something comes to protect that bastard son of fate, he will die there, or at least be injured.

'But his luck is too much...'

There is also the possibility that he might awaken his bloodline there and become even more powerful.

'I also have to keep in mind that logic doesn't apply to the protagonist.'

He also couldn't help but wonder if his actions led to him awakening his dragon bloodline.

In no story will there be a villain strong enough for the protagonist.

No matter what dog shit luck the protagonist needs, he will gain the strength to face the villain no matter what.

And right now, the villain has reached the strength that he shouldn't have reached at all. Who knows if the world favours its bastard child and blesses him with even more absurd luck?

'I swear... if that actually happens, I will let this world die.'

What will even be the point if he can never win against the MC, right?

If the world is going to favour the MC without any limits, then it's better that he let this world die once again.

"Do you understand?"

He asked at the end, staring directly into his eyes.

Wasker shivered when he saw him like that, even though he had been through countless battles and faced threats that far exceeded his strength, but being stared down by Noah... he felt that same feeling when a predator stares at its prey.

'So this is the devil everyone talks about? Even when he showed no strength, everyone was afraid of him, but now... the entire world will tremble before him. I don't know who that poor guy is... but he is for sure doomed, even gods can't save him.'

"I will do my best to carry out this task, My lord."

"Good. I expected nothing less from you. Just be sure, don't let mother find out about this. Also, bring capable knights with you and send a disposable one to the bandits. I have no use for a worthless bunch."

"As you wish, my lord."

Wasker nodded his head. Satisfied, Noah walked out of there, heading towards the forest to complete his task.

'Now that's settled, I should focus on my training. If my mc does come close to getting awakened, then I would rather join in there and finish him off.'

Author vs Protagonist, happening on the very first volume?

That face-off will be damn insane.

But that's something for later. For now, he needed to complete the quest.

Taking a chariot, he reached the forest area within minutes.

Here, he won't be disturbed by anyone and can complete his quest.

He was tired, but that wasn't an excuse he could take right now.

He still moved his legs, 10km wasn't a big number, but it wasn't small either, and added to the fact that he was feeling sore all over.

Slowly, however, the bar for a 10 km run still moved.

He pushed his body, even though he was sweating profusely; his legs wobbled and shook. Muscles tightened but he did not stop.

'Fucking hell... Just move dammit.'

He looked at the progress bar, which had only moved a little, he felt as if he might have crossed half the limit by now, but he was far from it.

He took a break occasionally, but did not stop. It took him hours before he was finally able to finish his run of 10 km.

Once he was done, he threw his body on the ground, desperately gasping for air and water.

'Fuck... fuck... why did I even say I will become a knight? Haa~ haaa~ being a mage haa~ would have been haa~ easier.'

He didn't even need to learn spells for being a mage, he was gifted in that aspect.

As he was cursing his choice, someone else was praising him inside her head.

Standing on a branch of a tall tree, a mysterious dark figure was watching him, curiously,

'So that's the man who defeated my student? Contrary to what I had heard before, he is working hard. But there is nothing that seems extraordinary about him.'
