Eiravyn stared at her for a few moments before he spoke again. "I have my ways Kitten." He said, staring at her intensely.

"Now, Kitten. I thought I should let you know, tomorrow you'll be properly introduced to everybody in this kingdom as my mate and queen." Eiravyn told her firmly, with burning intensity in his eyes forcing Serena to swallow, it almost felt like everything was already set in place and he was merely feeling her in.

Serena didn't know how to feel about that as she felt like she had not really gotten used to the kingdom and barely knew anything about the vampire kingdom,but she nodded meekly, as she stared at Eiravyn.

With that said he went on to inform her. "Listen, Kitten, there will be a banquet tomorrow evening where the high-ranking ministers and commoners will all be present. It is expected for you as the queen to host and prepare for that, but that won't be necessary. So you can be rest assured. And also about your presumed cancer, I'm already in talks with my high priest, you will be meeting him tomorrow… you have to be prepared, can you do that?"

Serena listened attentively to everything Eiravyn said and nodded only at times she needed to.

Eiravyn believed Serena didn't have cancer, as she had never shown any signs of a person with cancer, but he still wanted to be sure. So the very first thing he did when he came back to the kingdom was send a message his high priest. He also had doubts Serena wasn't human; he just felt like there was a huge misconception going on pertaining to her birth. The only way to find out who she was, was by meeting his high priest.

"Now come let's sleep." Eiravyn finally said, patting the space beside him in the bed.

Serena stared at him in shock, her eyes glimmering and almost bulging out. "You want to sleep here in my room?" She asked with obvious disbelief in her voice and expressions.

"Yes Kitten. Is there a problem." He asked, biting his bottom lip sexily, Eiravyn's smile turned sexy but a dangerous kind of sexy. A glint of excitement flashed in his eyes.

Serena squirmed in her spot under his intense stare. "Yes… uhm… no… i mean yes…" she stuttered unable to find the right words to use before she finally said.

"You can't sleep here Eiravyn, this is my room, you have your own room." Serena finally muttered, fiddling with the edge of her clothes nervously.

She was not about to face the same embarrassment she'd faced when Luna found her in bed at the witch coven. What if one of the maids found out he'd slept in her bed? How would she face them? Serena almost covered her face in embarrassment.

Eiravyn sat back up on the bed, wondering what had come over this kitten just now, "Why is that?" Eiravyn asked. Staring at her like she had grown two heads.

Serena almost screamed at the top of her lungs. What does he mean by why is that? She took a deep breath calming herself, before she turned to him.

"Because it's not proper. My grandmother said a man and a woman should never share the same room or sleep together." She said this so calmly like she was lecturing a naughty little kid, Eiravyn could not help but gape at her in disbelief.

Eiravyn was so stunned. He didn't know what to say to this. Just a while ago this Kitten here was throwing herself at him and now she was saying this Eiravyn's jaw dropped. If he didn't know better he'd think she was playing with his feelings but looking at her serious expressions and determined face, He thought otherwise… What then does she understand by the word one night stand?

He closed his eyes and pinched the skin between his brows. He was already having trouble controlling his body's reactions to her words and then she did this… she was really innocent.

"Kitten, that's different. That's only if you're not planning to get married but you're my mate and we can sleep together." Eiravyn tried to explain calmly, even though his heart was raging violently. He added to appeal her, "and we plan to get married, is that not right?" Eiravyn asked.

But Serena didn't view it that way, "No can do Eiravyn… you have to sleep in your room till we get married." She said, crossing her arms under her breast, giving her boobs a push.

He groaned as his gaze instantly flew to her breast area, she was still wearing the tank top which barely concealed anything. He just couldn't believe the audacity of this girl! If he didn't know she was inexperienced, he would have sworn she was trying to seduce him and he would have pounced on her! But he knew that was not the case.

Eiravyn didn't have the strength to continue arguing with her today, as he had kept her up for quite a while now and she needed sleep to rest for tomorrow and he was not sure he would be able to keep his hands to himself if they slept together.

"You win today Kitten. But I'm not sure things will always go your way." Eiravyn gave up as he thought, there was no need to rush and he would teach her these things slowly. Right now she needed to sleep and if he stayed there they would keep talking with no one willing to back down. There was still so much he had to teach her and he would take his sweet, sweet time in doing do. His mate was his to taint and spoil. He thought with a smirk.

"Kitten, go to bed now…" with that said, he was long gone from the room and all Serena felt was a strong gust of wind. She was not surprised, since she was already quite familiar with his powers and abilities.

She sighed and lay back down on the mattress, covering herself completely before pulling the covers over her. She was not comfortable sleeping with him on the same bed when she was scarcely dressed.

Serena sighed before closing her eyes, letting the night breeze lull her to sleep.
