Chapter 232: Rampage Four Men (Part 2)

"This pirate's strength isn't much better than an ordinary person... Is this 'Shark Pirate Group' only this strong?"

With a single slash, he effortlessly decapitated the first pirate, causing the body to plummet into the sea below. Wang Zhifan internally assessed the opponent's strength, while also developing a slight sense of doubt.

Initially, he had some expectation for the person whose eyes reminded him of a subordinate from the last instance, thinking they would display combat power surpassing the ordinary standard and engage him for a while. However, in reality, the opponent had no ability to contend with him. Even though he hadn't utilized even a tenth of his combat power, the person was directly defeated by a single strike. After knocking the spear tip off balance with a knife block, he quickly closed in to decapitate, mainly to stack buffs. Otherwise, he would've let him fall into the sea below.

After taking down the first enemy, Wang Zhifan did not pause; nor did he walk down the current gangplank. Instead, he suddenly tapped his foot lightly and leaped to a nearby gangplank.

On this gangplank, a robust middle-aged pirate holding a scimitar was rushing over. He had already crossed the middle of the gangway, intending to reach the opposite deck to begin a massacre, but he hadn't anticipated that a young man would suddenly leap onto this gangplank without warning, landing behind him from over ten meters away.

The middle-aged pirate, a veteran, immediately sensed the unusual disturbance behind him and unhesitatingly swung his blade around, without a hint of the possibility that it might be a comrade coming to aid, not giving anyone a chance to assault him.

However, his sudden slash seemed to be anticipated by Wang Zhifan, who had just descended from the air. Wang Zhifan immediately leaned back and retreated a half-step, narrowly dodging the blade aiming for his neck. He then swiftly flicked his bandit knife upwards, severing a hand grasping the scimitar's hilt, blood scattering.

"Ah!"

The middle-aged pirate screamed in agony from the severed wrist, but only once, for the next moment another blade flashed, severing his head from his body, leaving him no chance for a second scream.

"Still very weak."

Dispatching the second enemy with two slashes, Wang Zhifan maintained a low opinion in his heart, which led him to further lower the estimation of this so-called pirate group's strength, allowing him to further unleash himself.

He now resembled a fierce tiger out of its cage, no longer controlling his pace to engage enemies one-on-one. Suddenly, he burst forward with terrifying speed, turning around and darting towards the enemy ship like an arrow.

The first slash, he reached the end of the gangplank and severed a pirate just jumping onto the gangplank, along with his scimitar, in two. The second slash, he flipped the longsword of a pirate charging close to the gangplank. The third slash, he leapt off the gangplank, horizontally slashing the knife, the blade carving an arc, directly severing the necks of two nearby enemies, including the previous one. The fourth slash, he surged with frightening speed at three pirates who hadn't fully reacted, slicing through their necks before they could reflexively swing at him. The fifth slash, he turned to attack another pirate attempting a backstab, stabbing through the person's chest with his knife. The sixth slash…

In a flash, on the deck of the Great Horned Shark Pirate Group's warship, Wang Zhifan seemed like a Celestial God descended to earth. With a black-handled knife, he charged and rampaged among the pirates with astonishing speed. Whoever stood in his way was slain in the blink of an eye, his slaughter efficiency surpassing even chopping vegetables. The path he traversed was strewn with bleeding corpses, and in under ten seconds, witnessing his ferocity, the pirates scattered as if they had seen a ghost. Some even jumped overboard into the sea out of sheer terror.

"Ah! What did I just see? I must be hallucinating!"

"Oh god! That man is terrifying like a mythical Demon God!"

"He single-handedly crushed those pirates!"

"I didn't even get to fire a second shot!"

...

On the other side, aboard the Sea Parrot, the crew who witnessed everything just now screamed in shock, unable to comprehend why the young man, who should have been overwhelmed by the pirates, was so fierce, managing to single-handedly crush over a hundred pirates, and they belonged to the infamous Great Horned Shark Pirate Group!

"We need to continue firing to support him! This is a great opportunity to annihilate the enemy!"

After the immense shock, the Sea Parrot's captain was the first to regain composure. He immediately led the crew to the ship's railings, close to the opposing deck, continuing to fire gunpowder shots at the pirates scattering indiscriminately. Those guys had already been hit hard by the young man's fierce, unstoppable onslaught, losing most of their fighting spirit, as there were few who truly weren't afraid to die.

Yet just as the Sea Parrot crew pulled the trigger for a second round of shooting without causing much battle damage, an inexplicable music arose from beneath the enemy's deck. Subtle and melodious, each note felt just right, instantly ensnaring them inescapably, their eyes becoming hollow, and their guns clattering down to the deck.

Meanwhile, the Great Horned Shark Pirates enveloped by the music were acting entirely differently. Where they had been panicked and fleeing, their eyes quickly steadied, regaining the courage lost from Wang Zhifan's onslaught. However, instead of immediately turning to fearlessly besiege Wang Zhifan, they promptly retreated to the aft of the deck, behind four figures who had emerged from the lower cabin.

Standing foremost among the four was a tall man, appearing in his twenties, handsome and slender, wearing an exquisite blue-green suit, holding a black flute, playing music.

To the left of the flute-playing youth stood a wrinkled old white man, slightly short, with a black patch over his left eye as a One-Eyed Dragon, holding a crescent-like scimitar in each hand, staring intently at the knife-wielding youth in the distance.

To the right of the flute player was a giant, far over two meters tall, clad head to foot in Steel Armor. The eyes visible through the helmet were vertical pupils, holding a spiked hammer in one hand and a large shield in the other, appearing like a small mountain.

Several meters behind the flute youth stood the last person, a tall middle-aged man, with a stylish beard and captain's hat, likely the pirate ship's leader.

"Ha... finally, the real contenders show up?"

As the music began unexpectedly, Wang Zhifan paused his assault, refraining from further slaughter of the scattering pirates, and focused his attention on the four individuals who had suddenly appeared on the deck.

These four felt significantly different from the other pirates, including the captain-looking one at the back, exuding a mysterious aura that guaranteed power beyond conventional limits.

The elegantly dressed youth blowing the flute further demonstrated this point with his actions. His musical performance seemingly held supernatural power, quickly dazing the crew on the Sea Parrot's deck, even slightly affecting Wang Zhifan himself, though just slightly.

Not to mention Wang Zhifan's current mental attribute at 111 points and physical attribute at 105 points, indicating tremendous basic resistance. Just with the legacy necklace from Rog around his neck, with its Unrestrained and Sovereign effects, it was destined that mental attacks and control capabilities would hardly affect him.
