Aditya smiled and gently hugged his mother back. "I’m doing fine, Mother."

She then took his hand and led him toward the place where Alen was sitting. Meanwhile, Alen had been watching his wife and son with a small smile. Although he was also extremely happy to see Aditya, he was much better at hiding his emotions.

However, once everyone had gathered, Alen decided to get straight to the important matter. "All right, everyone. Before we discuss anything else, I want to know something."

He looked toward Athena and the other girls. "What is our current situation? What has happened since our last meeting?"

Hearing this, Athena stepped forward. "Well, Your Majesty, quite a lot has changed since we last met."

Hearing this, Alen immediately became serious. He knew that the war must have started, or at least something serious must have happened. "To put it simply, Ren officially declared war against us. For a moment, Alen did not know what to say. Although he already knew that his son possessed extraordinary talent, Aditya’s cultivation speed still managed to surprise him. Elena, on the other hand, looked extremely happy.

She gently squeezed Aditya’s hand. "Congratulations, my child."

"Thank you, Mother." Aditya replied with a smile.

Alen looked toward Aditya. "To think that the war might already be over by tomorrow..."

Elena took a deep breath before continuing. "If Ren brings us to the battlefield tomorrow and forces you to fight against us, I want you to promise me something."

Aditya remained silent. He could tell where this was going. And he did not like what his mom was about to say. "Don’t hesitate because we’re your parents. If Ren uses our bodies against you, don’t hold back. Kill us immediately if that’s what it takes to stop him."

Hearing those words, Alen slowly nodded his head. He agreed with his wife. Although neither of them wanted to die, they also did not want Ren to use them as weapons against their own son.

If their lives became an obstacle that prevented Aditya from winning the war, they would rather sacrifice themselves than allow Ren to take advantage of the situation. "I know this is difficult for you to hear, but you must understand that we don’t want you to risk your life trying to save us."

She looked directly into Aditya’s eyes. "Your life is far more important to us than our own."

However, just as Elena finished speaking, she noticed something strange. Instead of looking sad or troubled, Aditya had a small smirk on his face. In fact, he almost looked amused.
