Chapter 1881: Chapter 1873: More Supreme Sages

Chapter 1881: Chapter 1873: More Supreme Sages

Within the Dark Void, enveloped by a protective barrier, the remaining Heavenly Saint Alchemists of the Seven Towers of Heavenly Sages, the Incandescent Star Palace Lord, the Honeygold Star Palace Lord, and the other Supreme Sages watched as the violent, galaxy-shaking conflict between Supreme Sages unfolded with ferocious brutality. Each strike from either side contained devastatingly lethal power, designed to erase and eradicate on an existential level, purely to ensure the other was wiped out without a possibility for recovery or revival.

The shockwaves of the battle were explosively violent, forcing the Containing Creation Galactic Zone and Transforming Worlds Galactic Zone's protective formations to be activated in response, shielding the common citizens. If it wasn't for the particular region of the Dark Void, which was far from either galactic zone, situated in the middle of both, they likely would have been forced to deploy their forces to calm the conflict.

Initially, the Peerless Primal Pavilion's Sovereign Primal Star fought against the Peerless Poison Pavilion's Sovereign Vilesnow were the ignition, yet after a short while, the battle ballooned in participants; the high-level combat forces of both pavilions seemed to have been readied beforehand, appearing with various arrays and treasures. The Peerless Primal Pavilion formed a Mystic Array known as the Primal Sky Origin Array, possessing a total of two True Sages, seventy-nine Mystic Overlords, and 8,100 Original Magistrates.

This was almost their entire combat force, all led under Sovereign Primal Star's orders. The Primal Sky Origin Array was devised by both Sovereign Primal Star and Sovereign Abhorrent Sky, and they formed a single golden cloud that could rival a tiny planet in magnitude. The cloud morphed into a fist or a star, crashing against enemies to absorb them, or launching streams of liquid from afar, slicing anything it came across.

The other side was similarly a cloud of almost equal size, but of pure white. It exuded a miasmic aura that sought to poison everything. They only had a single True Sage at the helm, assisted by fifty-three Mystic Overlords, but tens of thousands of Original Magistrates supported it, almost a hundred thousand, far exceeding the other. Under Sovereign Vilesnow's orders, they besieged the area with their Soul-Snow Miasmia Array, attempting to rush into the Incinerated Dominion's fiery zone.

Each Array was supported by a variety of Mystic-Heaven Treasures and a Heavenly Treasure, granting each expression of their collective power the might to far exceed a typical Enlightened Sage.

While it may seem as if their collective strength was lacking considering their investment, the fact that they could exhibit such strength through collective unity was incredibly impressive.

A hectic and violent game of defense and siege began. Those under Sovereign Vilesnow's command blazed viciously toward the Incinerated Dominion's zone, attempting to reach Su Yi while those in Sovereign Primal Star's camp fought with their all to serve as an impregnable wall, pushing and smashing their opponents away while being careful to not get poisoned.

Not only that, Sovereign Primal Star was no longer fighting against a single Supreme Sage. A woman had joined the fray. She was tall with a muscular build and long, flowing red hair that resembled a river of blood with vibrant green eyes and full scarlet lips. She sported on her impressively fit body only a cloak and boots made of wolfskin, and chain mail that resembled snake scales that only covered her ample chest like a bikini, albeit barely, and a short skirt made of the same material.

She exuded unprecedented physical dominance as she swung her broadsword at Sovereign Vilesnow! With every swing, space and time were cut in half, creating a tempest of chaos in the Dark Void. She was a Supreme Sage! Moreover, she was a Sword Cultivator! Her Sword Intent produced a red surge of shar,p flowing light that exploded at the tip of her sword.

The two women fought side-by-side against a common foe. Despite the united effort, Sovereign Vilesnow was keeping himself safe by conserving his Resonant Qi. However, he ensured they stayed on their toes, threatening to intrude into the Incinerated Dominion's fiery zone if he observed a single moment of carelessness.

He sought to end Su Yi with a clear intention.

"Where did he go?" The Honeygold Star Palace Lord asked the Incandescent Star Palace Lord with furrowed brows. She had stayed close to Wei Wuyin, and then, without warning, he vanished into the Void. She thought of following him, yet the Incandescent Star Palace Lord had stopped her.

Besides her, Sovereign Darkmother's facial expression was twisted in frustration and anger. She wasn't paying much attention to Wei Wuyin, but towards the battle occurring within the Incinerated Dominion's fiery zone; Sovereign Littlefather was currently held back by another Supreme Sage. They weren't in a battle, simply keeping him at bay by their presence.

Despite having a terrifying cultivation base as a Resonant Soul Realm expert, Sovereign Littlefather was an Alchemist. Not just any alchemist, but a Heavenly Saint Alchemist. While he hadn't cultivated an Alchemic Soul like the Zeniths had, his cultivation base was significantly weaker in terms of combat in comparison to others.

Moreover, the person in question had a consolidated cultivation base as a Microheaven Envoy. With a consolidated cultivation base, Resonant Qi usage was forgiving, no longer suppressed by the fear of losing one's foundation with every execution of a spell or art of the Resonant Soul Realm level. They held an unrivaled position against those who didn't have their foundation consolidated.

Sovereign Littlefather also had his foundation consolidated, so he should have a great advantage against the common Supreme Sage, yet he was facing a Supreme Sage who similarly had qualms with unleashing their full strength. The Supreme Sage wore a mask, covered by a robe to conceal their identity.

Meanwhile, as he was held up, Su Yi was currently slaughtering the forces that they had schemed to bring in to deal with him. How did he recover so fast? It had barely been any time since he was injured by the Mythical Punishment, and accelerated zones had limits. Even a thousand years shouldn't be enough to recover without some godly healing treasure.

Her frustration and anger were warranted in full.

The Incandescent Star Palace Lord ignored the gritting Sovereign Darkmother and gave Palace Lord Honeygold a silent, shallow smile.

"..." Palace Lord Honeygold pursed her lips. Before she could curse him in her heart, a ripple pulsed outward from fixed space beside her, and her eyes focused immediately. Wei Wuyin waltzed out with his Alchemic Stars of Unparalleled Creation on full display.

"What did I miss?" He asked casually as if he hadn't just invaded the Incinerated Dominion's subspace that everyone sought to enter. The cavalier attitude brought an amused smile to the Incandescent Star Palace Lord's face.

Sovereign Rainmother's gentle and mindful demeanor exhibited itself once again as she answered: "Heaven-Saint Neo-Dawn, there are several developments. Firstly," she gestured to the Incinerated Dominion's inner zone, "Heaven-Saint Thunderhaven has been halted. A masked Supreme Sage of unknown origins—"

"It's the Void Hunter, Sovereign Shadowjoy, leader of the Joy Boy Hunter Union," Sovereign Seafather exposed the truth with an indifferent tone.

"..." The tacit understanding of keeping his identity a privately obvious yet publicly unknown by the Supreme Sages were instantly shattered. They all shifted their gazes to him. Sovereign Seafather shrugged with pure apathy, "He stole a rogue planet filled with Mystic-Earth grade ore from my Void Hunting Unit about sixty thousand years ago."

A lasting grudge leading to an immediate consequence.

Identity exposed, Sovereign Shadowjoy would have two Heavenly Saint Alchemists against him, potentially three, given the overt emotions Sovereign Darkmother was showing. There was a strong chance that a plot to end his life would be planned after this.

Sovereign Skyfather cleared his throat, gesturing with his eyes for Sovereign Rainmother to continue. She restrained the urge to bitterly smile as such pettiness, and calmly continued: "Yes. Sovereign Shadowjoy has taken action, preventing Heaven-Saint Thunderhaven from attacking Su Yi, who is openly exposed in the boundary between the Core's Subspatial Realm and the Inner Zone of Incineration brought by the detonation, defending the insides while the Shard of Heaven is likely trying to refine the core.

"Also, one of the infamous Void Pirates operating in the Holy Void of Fortune, one of the three Pirate Devils of Bloody Fortune, the She-Devil Sword Sovereign, has allied with Sovereign Primal Star and is suppressing Sovereign Vilesnow. She's the most recent, having only ascended twenty thousand years ago."

Wei Wuyin observed this valiantly powerful and aggressive woman swinging her sword around with forceful swipes. Her profession reminded him of Bloodtorrent, while her fighting spirit reminded him of Da Shan.

"Interesting," Wei Wuyin had only missed those two additions, so he didn't need any further updates. In truth, he was just curious as to who these two newcomers were. Even with Enlightened Sage Springfield and Zhang Jiangwen's knowledge, he was clueless. He sent a grateful look of appreciation and thanks to Sovereign Rainmother.

Seeing this, Sovereign Skyfather inwardly nodded. Every little ounce of favor from this uniquely talented and powerful Heavenly Saint Alchemist she gained would be a boon for them both, and potentially their child.

The situation kept unfolding on three fronts: Su Yi's defense, the triple-threat match against the Star-Devourer, Shard of Heaven, and an Enlightened Sage, and lastly, the fight against Sovereign Vilesnow and Sovereign Primal Star. With newcomers intervening and Superior Sages observing, the event was escalating to a galactic conflict.

"Why are two outsiders, a Void Pirate and a Void Hunter, able to intervene in this situation?" Wei Wuyin inquired. He knew that these so-called Heavenly Saint Alchemists had long since discarded their 'rules' and became idle spectators or directly involved themselves. This was no longer a simple contest, but a fight for treasure, secrets, and grudges.

"Both of them were born and raised in the Utmost Purity Galaxy, not affiliating themselves with any other greater galaxy. They're afforded special privileges to involve themselves in specific events as long as it doesn't endanger any galactic zones. Normally, this wouldn't evolve into either of them taking action personally, but…" Sovereign Rainmother explained with a soft sigh at the end. Typically, contests were dealt with by the younger and weaker generation, with the Supreme Sages overseeing the situation, but Su Yi had inspired a great series of battles by calling forth unconventional allies.

More importantly, this was all triggered far too early due to the instigatory announcements from both Arcanids and Shadow Veil. The fact that they released two different announcements had caused the situation to spiral out of control.

Wei Wuyin held in his desire to chuckle. However, he now realized that those two Sovereigns might operate in the Holy Void of Fortune, but the Heavenly Saint Alchemists present and the Zeniths see them as part of their strength to call upon, potentially to execute bounties or acquire treasures for them.

In a way, Sovereign Shadowjoy was. As a Void Hunter, he was a treasured hunter, acquiring extremely exotic materials, exploring dangerous regions of space, or hunting Void Creatures for their essence blood, flesh, or unique organic material.

As for the She-Devil Sword Sovereign, she was a menace, but not for them. She likely avoided attacking Utmost Purity Galaxy's trade ships or transports, potentially assisting their travels for a fee. She was a needed aid in the chaos of the Dark Void. As for how dangerous she was to other galaxies?

Who cares?

Su Yi must have experienced a lot during his years of growth to gain such high-level contact before he acquired Supreme Sage-level strength. Perhaps it was the karmic ties from his former life taking effect? Since there wasn't a surge of Karmic Luck prior, these assists could have been the result of good, natural karma that even the Heavenly Daos had no need to intervene.

To have two Supreme Sage-level beauties fight to protect you, Su Yi was a rather fortunate man.

But if that mysterious woman earlier was who he thought she was, then perhaps he was a fortunate man, but he certainly wasn't a lucky one…
