"This is our newest creation, the Spirit Detector. It ignores the normal spirits we all know, and it only detects the aliens that come from the Spiritual Plane," Magmara explained.

"It can even detect the influence they put into the world, such as gates, cracks between dimensions, or the spiritual crystals that infect a world," Somnara said.

"It's not too noisy, right?" I wondered.

"No, once you equip it, it'll send a notification inside your head, like a tingling sensation," Magmara explained.

"It is also made so it gets used to the same frequency, meaning that if you have an ally from that world, it shouldn't ring any bells after some time," Somnara said.

"The girls and I put a lot of effort into this, as did their parents," Freyja said. "You're free to keep it, Kireina. I hope this can help you find them."

"Thank you," I nodded. "I am sure this will be of great help for what I am currently working on."

"It doesn't only detect spirit aliens, though," Somnara said.

"Although we're still working on it, it should be able to detect the presence of our roots," Magmara said.

"Your roots?" I wondered.

"Yes, the Dream Plane, the Dimension of Dreams that connects to all other Universes," Somnara said. "An incredibly dangerous and yet intriguing place we've only seen but never dared to enter."

"Although we are Dream Gods, the Dream Plane is a completely different dimension altogether. We were not born there either, so we would definitely not be able to easily fit in," Magmara said.

"However, it still intrigues us and our parents, and it is a goal of ours to one day find it and explore it," Somnara said. "This is why we're also trying to grow as strong as possible in the academy."

"Both of these girls are very strong, already at Great God Realm, and recently they both surpassed their parents, reaching a much higher Rank," Freyja said. "I would dare say they aren't that far from reaching Supreme God Realm. They just need more training and resources."

"Wow! You're already that advanced? Oh! I can tell now that I detect your presences and auras," I nodded. "Have your parents been unable to catch up?"

"They're already cultivating and researching as much as they can," Somnara said.

"But they are still limited due to their origins," Magmara said. "However, they said we were born from their powerful union, and we are not restrained by the limits they possess."

"Dad said he was proud we could surpass him," Somnara said.

"And mother said she wanted us to become Cosmic Deities!" Magmara smiled.

"Haha, well, I share the same sentiment as them," I nodded. "It's nice when your kid has incredible talent and could even one day surpass you. You need resources, right?"

"Yes, although the Academy provides plenty of resources," Freyja said. "A little special scholarship of sorts from you would do wonders for these two geniuses. And of course, you could give it to them as an apology to their parents for having, well, abandoned them to fend for themselves." She looked at me with a very serious face.

Ah, she's manipulating me, isn't she? She's making me feel really guilty, and it's working.

"Alright," I nodded. "I'm not doing it just because of that, though, but because I genuinely believe they deserve the investment. You'll receive a scholarship that will provide you with more materials my Cosmic Will shall harvest personally. Well, I am already automatically harvesting all kinds of resources and crafting items on the sidelines, but now I will provide you with top-notch items. This will be the same for any incredible and unique talent you find, Freyja, Redgaria, so if you find any, just tell me."

"Yaaay!"

Both sisters celebrated, raising their arms and cheering, their tentacle hair wiggling around as their auras surged with pink-colored clouds, dream essence.

Well, I'm always happy to help those that deserve it and that work hard for what they have.

"Please, take this jewel and place it on the device," Magmara explained. "It is a crystallized dream jewel. It should also help you detect Dream Plane interventions to an extent."

"Oh, thanks!" I nodded, having placed the jewel there. "Hm, so this is a magic device, huh? I didn't think about it, but perhaps I could make it into an Ego."

"Ego?" Somnara and Magmara gasped.

"Huh?" I stepped back as I saw both girls get super excited, blushing and breathing heavily as they approached me, sticking themselves to me.

"Kireina-sama! You know about Egos, right?" Somnara asked.

"We've been trying to get our hands on an Ego Artifact for ages now, but they're so hard to come by, and only very few can create them!" Magmara said.

"Well, obviously, only I and my family can," I said. "But technically anybody could, but you would need access to the System Tower where the Cosmic Star Core is located. Ah, right, I guess you can't get there, huh?"

"That's an area that heavily restricts those that enter it," Somnara said.

"We once tried sneaking in with our parents to get a hold of one, but we were expelled before we could even get past the barrier," Magmara sighed.

"You shouldn't really try to do that. It's private property," I sighed. "Anyway, let's consider this part of your scholarship. Here."

I gave both girls several glowing orbs. They were crystallized Ego Fragments, harvested from the random monsters I hunted down in that Vampire Domain where I was kidnapped.

"These are purified Ego Orbs, a crystallized, spherical form of an Ego Fragment," I explained. "Use them on anything that is an inanimate object to imbue it with an Ego Soul. I am giving you two only one each, choose wisely how you use them."

"Thank you, thank you so much!" Somnara smiled.

"Ahhh, it's real! We got them, Somnara!" Magmara celebrated.

"Haha, you're really happy, huh?" I giggled, patting their heads, as they ended up hugging me tightly, rubbing their faces on my chest, thanking me for this gift. "Huh? Girls, calm down!"
