Chapter 2760 - 2761: To The Shop

Honestly, Wasp was not wrong. I had already fought someone who thoroughly defeated me, and he wasn't even in a higher realm than mine.
That was, of course, Noah, the man who overwhelmed me in that earlier encounter.
Without my ability to revive endlessly, creating a loop he couldn't yet comprehend, I would have been defeated.
No, in truth, I had already lost to him! I should stop being so arrogant and accept it.
Noah displayed remarkable technique and masterful control over his boundless energies. He could read my movements, anticipate my skills and their mechanics, and execute everything with merely a few blinks of his eyes.
He was a True Martial Master.
This made sense. Apparently, he had lived for hundreds of thousands of years in Abyss since his arrival there.
He conquered that harsh world alone, rose to its pinnacle, and remained unchallenged for all that time.
He had no stars to devour, no nebulae to assimilate, and no black holes to fuse with.
Yet, he possessed unique cosmic resources, such as the sun, the dark abyss beneath that world, and the chaotic clouds surrounding it.
I'm certain he utilized them all for his growth, alongside his blood energy.
That was all he had.
And yet, he became incredibly powerful!
He must have experienced countless epiphanies and enlightenments while cultivating and practicing martial arts relentlessly over all that time.
To remain unparalleled in Abyss forever, and now he's here, wandering, searching for something while likely plotting to kill me too.
I wonder how he'll react to the Sun God, though.
I recently acquired an Archdemon Crown, and its powers are impressive. Silva's evolution is remarkable as well.
Even so, I bet he wouldn't flinch against all that power.
I suppose reaching the same Realm as Noah is a worthy goal for now.
"That's right, my daughter. You must take things more seriously now if you want us to take you seriously," my father said with a smile. "Now, go. Medea, Wasp, and Frankenstein will each recommend how you should use those points. Mirabilis will also recommend items for you."
"Please follow us, young lady," Medea said with a smile. "I know the perfect grimoires for Magic Circuit Creation for someone like you, as well as unique Mana Core and Magic Circle Forging Scrolls."
"I know excellent books on the Theory of Magic, Science, Alchemy, and the Elements," Frankenstein said. "They'll help you understand the world, its mechanics, and further enhance your growth in magic, cultivation, and martial arts."
"I know the ideal Martial Arts Manual for you," Wasp said expressionlessly, though showing clear interest in me.
"Whew, aren't I lucky to have you? Hehe," I giggled, feeling truly spoiled.
"Let's go then, young lady," Mirabilis said, taking my hand.
"Hey, I'm not a kid for you to hold my hand…" I sighed.
"Really?! But your father always says you're a little kid!" Mirabilis said. "Practically a baby!"
"I'm not a baby either!" I complained.
"You'll always be my precious little baby," my father said, making a heart sign with his fingers.
"Dad, stop being cringe!" I cried, running away.
"Cringe?!" he shouted.
After my conversation with my father and learning about the various purposes of the Entrance Exam, where criminal families would attempt to enroll their young geniuses in our organization, the greatest in all of Japan, we headed to the store.
The Chaos Gate Store wasn't a single location but comprised several outlets across our vast territory, all apparently managed by one person.
The nearest store to the house I shared with my father was underground, within the immense palace of black and white floor tiles I had visited before.
Walking through it revealed how vast this place was, quickly showing that the house was much larger than it appeared from the outside. This underground palace-like area might even be larger.
"This is the Store," Mirabilis said. "Knock once, young lady."
"Why me?" I asked.
"It has to be you," Wasp said.
"Uh, okay…" I said, knocking once.
The red door before me trembled momentarily, emitting waves that seemed to warp space and time.
FLUOSH!
In an instant, in the blink of an eye, we appeared in a massive store crammed with strange items, so crowded it was difficult to move.
Flasks containing bizarre monster body parts—eyes, tongues, hands, still moving and blinking—lined the shelves. Dried-out creature heads hung from the ceiling, alongside horns, fangs, claws, dragon scales, and more.
There were also colorful books, grimoires, scrolls, and odd objects: black pens, red lanterns, floating crystal spheres emitting a mysterious light, and numerous weapons.
Weapons were scattered everywhere—on the walls, ceiling, and floor: swords, hammers, axes, shields. Armor was also abundant, some pieces more vibrant than others. Curiously, some "armor" consisted of sexy lingerie, and I noticed bracelets, rings, earrings, and other accessories imbued with magical properties.
Living creatures were housed in cages: colorful slimes, blazing birds, young wyverns, and even, in the shop's corner, a small yellow and red-colored egg.
"What is this place?" I wondered. "Is this really a store? It's more like storage."
"It is, and it's also the store," a voice echoed from amidst the piles of items. From the central desk, someone emerged.
Their voice was distorted but sounded somewhat masculine. They were immensely tall and lanky, draped in black robes from head to toe, and wore a white mask resembling those of plague doctors.
He gazed at me with glowing red eyes beneath his mask, noting my presence in the store. He seemed surprised I was there. I couldn't tell if he was pleased, but he definitely reacted.
This was most likely Enigma, right?
"Ah, the young lady..."
Enigma looked at me with mysterious red eyes under his white mask.
Noticing my presence amidst the store, he seemed rather surprised I was here.
I don't know if pleased though, but he seemed to have some sort of reaction.
"I see. That unique aura around you, it must have been you. I thought for a moment that it was your mother.".
