Wolf Hunter was well aware of the condition Amber Dawn was in. For better or worse, the city desperately lacked star-rank alchemists and formation masters, and was facing massive shortages in both its pill supply, as well as the weapons it had access to.

Of course, both the assassin guilds and the city guard had access to a few star-rank alchemists and formation masters who worked exclusively for them and alleviated some of that pressure. Still, the demand far outweighed the supply, and even with those 'exclusive' alchemists and formation masters, and even if one factored in the existence of the numerous trading vendors spread throughout the city, the shortage of high-grade pills and weapons still had no end in sight.

''Senior Han, please ease your anger. If my earlier actions offended you, I'll apologize.'' Wolf Hunter's voice was a bit more genuine this time as he addressed the 'old man', the pressure in his spiritual sea still caused him to wince as he forced out a slight bow.
