Chapter 7136: Worldbearer Tortoise

Chongming Monarch didn’t know what Gluttonous Beast had done. Only the nine grand divine beasts were aware of the truth.

“Where did you steal the gluttonous gift?” Gluttonous Beast’s gaze was unbearable; none dared to look in his direction.

All eyes were on Ninth Lady. They had assumed that a gluttonous beast had helped her in training it. This didn’t seem to be the case.

“I derived it openly.” She wasn’t afraid.

“Then let’s see your limit then, I will find the source.” Although he wasn’t as aggressive as Lunar Wolf, he was somehow more intimidating.

“Senior, this is beyond me, you deal with him.” Ninth Lady retreated and shouted.

“Boom!” A hole opened in Worldbearer Firmament, allowing someone to walk out.

He had a serene aura that eased the oppressive pressure from other cultivators. He was short and old with only a few gray hairs left on his head.

He hunched as he walked, using a walking stick with his right hand while his left hand rested behind his back. He gave the impression that a gentle breeze could blow him away.

However, when people saw the turtle shell behind his back, they thought it could crush all of Divine Firmament if dropped.

“Worldbearer.” Gluttonous Beast had a serious expression.

“It’s him, only he dared to resist.” Chongming Monarch was not surprised.

He was the one who invited the primordial immortals to help their world. He was the oldest and most respected divine beast. Even Skykiller and Phoenix Queen addressed him as “Elder Tortoise”.

“Elder Tortoise.” Lunar Wolf and Death Serpent didn’t appreciate the turtle ruining their plan with outsiders.

“Elder.” Gluttonous paused briefly before addressing him.

“Congratulations, brat, for getting out of prison.” Worldbearer said.

“Elder, what is the meaning of this?” Gluttonous asked.

“You tell me.” Worldbearer said.

“Elder, I am doing this for the divine beasts.” Gluttonous said.

“Have you forgotten why you were imprisoned, brat?” Worldbearer shook his head.

Everyone was curious, awaiting the answer. This was particularly true for the gluttonous dragon servants. Their lord had disappeared and no one gave them an explanation.

“Two generations of lords were sealed.” Stone Immortal found this perplexing. First, it was Gluttonous Beast. Now, even Chongming Bird was sealed.

Gluttonous Beast didn’t respond, clearly agitated.

“It is time for a change. The nine great divine beasts cannot exist in name only.” Worldbearer said.
