As Liu Xing dashed toward the man with golden eyes, he cataloged each of his enemies. The man with golden eyes wielded a sword, the man with spectacles with his hands shrouded in green flame was likely a close combatant, while the woman with purple lips was creating numerous purple butterflies. The function of those butterflies remained a mystery, but he suspected the woman played a support role. The fight shouldn't be too difficult, but Liu Xing would ensure he made no mistakes.
Liu Xing and the man with golden eyes each swung their sword and stone blade. When they collided, a sharp sound of stone and steel clashing created a shockwave that spread around them, even the ground beneath their weapons rippled. Liu Xing's swing was slightly stronger, and the sword with the green jade hilt tilted to the side, a fact that made the man with golden eyes snarl like a dog.
Ignoring the hateful glare, Liu Xing swung the lightning blade toward the man. Seeing the attack, the senior pulled his blade to deflect it, and Liu Xing followed with another attack using his stone blade. The truth was, Liu Xing was an amateur with blades, let alone wielding two blades simultaneously. He had never learned the art or style of swordsmanship, yet the two blades already felt familiar in his hands, and these two long blades began to dance, intended to tear his opponent to pieces.
The exchanges between Liu Xing and the senior with the golden eyes were so rapid that the sharp "ting" each time their blades met sounded like an impatient bell ringing repeatedly. The ground beneath them bore many marks from their blades; the wind howled, and split stumps, rocks, and charred ground became their foothold. A mortal witnessing this fight would have widened eyes, unable to even perceive their movements, yet this exchange was merely an opening. Neither of them was even serious.
Liu Xing decided to escalate the fight by moving faster and faster to maximize his Lightning Cloak's effectiveness. His opponent frantically deflected both of Liu Xing's blades, left and right, up and down, as if Liu Xing possessed countless blades attacking from all directions at once.
"What a barbaric way to fight!" the senior snarled.
Liu Xing replied by swinging both blades inward, the stone blade aimed at the right side of his neck, while his lightning blade targeted the left. Together, they were like scissors trying to cut a rope. Seeing this attack, the senior scrunched his face and jumped back, his sword beginning to glow with a green light. A moment later, he unleashed a slash, and a green wind blade erupted from his sword.
Simultaneously, the man with spectacles circled around Liu Xing and leaped from behind. His palm, shrouded in green fire, attempted to touch Liu Xing's back. The man with spectacles' presence had been subtle, and it was a perfectly executed sneak attack, except that Liu Xing saw him with his third eye.
Liu Xing jumped to the side, toward several butterflies that approached him moving so fast their silhouettes looked more like swallows than butterflies. Purple trails form behind them and they emanate a sweet yet rotten smell. Liu Xing decided to flood his stone blade with qi and swung it. A crescent of purple qi erupted from his stone blade, moving so fast that in an instant, it destroyed the purple butterflies, which made the woman with purple lipstick's eyes widen.
At the same time, Liu Xing sent qi toward the gun in the sky and began to shoot bolts of Exploding Bullets at his three opponents. The woman looked up instantly and dodged to the side, while the two men dodged as his bullets closed in. Though they successfully dodged the bullets, the explosions they created threw them into the air as if they were mere leaves blown by a strong wind.
Seeing this, Liu Xing concluded that these three were not overly dangerous, to the point where he questioned the prowess of the inner disciples. There was no way that all the inner disciples were that weak. Hell, even Luo Ji could handle them on his own. But then he remembered that there was a hierarchy within the inner court, so maybe these were just the bottom rung. However, that didn't mean that they weren't impressive. Liu Xing was just that strong. After all, he had fought opponents in the Sun Refining Realm and a giant kilometer in height. These three core disciples were incomparable.
Liu Xing jumped into the air, cracking the ground below. In the air, he summoned his shield and kicked it, launching himself directly toward the woman with purple lipstick—coincidentally, the closest to him. As the woman saw him approach, her eyes widened, and she swung both hands toward him. Instantly, a giant purple butterfly materialized in front of her, flapping its wings wide and hovering as if to form a shield. It was a futile attempt, since Liu Xing summoned his shield, kicked as hard as he could, and instantly arrived right behind her. Sensing his presence, she snapped her head around, and Liu Xing swung his lightning blade at her. The woman desperately jumped to the side, and Liu Xing's lightning blade slashed her left arm clean from her shoulder. Blood spurted from her stump, arcing through the air, while the woman looked at him with a pale face, as if she had just seen a ghost.
As Liu Xing slashed the woman with purple lipstick, his gun, guided by his third eye, flew around and bombarded the two inner disciples. They desperately dodged his Exploding Fist bullets, knowing their explosions were too powerful to simply deflect. The man with the golden eyes sent several golden wind slashes toward Liu Xing's gun and third eye when he saw Liu Xing sever his teammate's arm.
"Zidie'e!" he shouted, then turned at Liu Xing and snarled, "You bastard!"
The man with golden eyes rushed toward him like a galloping horse, each step so forceful it destroyed the ground beneath him and created a large cloud of dust trailing behind. Liu Xing considered his actions for a moment, eyeing the woman and then back at the man with golden eyes charging at him. In the end, he decided to leap toward the woman while swinging his stone blade.

"Zidie! Activate your necklace!" the man with spectacles shouted while dodging the rapid shots of Exploding Bullets.
Liu Xing's long stone blade was only a moment from reaching the woman's neck when a golden color erupted from her body. Instantly, his stone blade struck something hard, making a loud ringing sound, as if he had hit hundreds of tiny bells at once. Then the woman, shrouded in golden light, shot to the side as if she were a rocket. At the same time, the man with golden eyes arrived before him, thrusting his sword toward his neck with eyes gleaming with hatred.
Liu Xing decided to summon his shield, but instead of using it as a foothold, he used it to defend against the sword thrust. When the sword hit the shield, the shield pushed back, but it was enough for Liu Xing to take several steps sideways. The man with golden eyes roared like a lion, his sword shrouded in green light, pushing against Liu Xing's shield as if it had killed his mother. Liu Xing swung his stone blade and sent a crescent of purple qi toward him. The man snapped his head to the side. Seeing the attack, he sent his own green slash to contend with Liu Xing's purple crescent qi, but it shattered easily and his attack pushed forward. Liu Xing thought his attack would land, but golden light erupted from the man's body, and instead of being cut by the crescent, the man was thrown back.
"Treasures, huh," Liu Xing muttered. It made sense. Inner disciples were wealthier than outer disciples, so there was a high chance each of them possessed defensive treasures. Also, since the treasures had the same effect, he thought perhaps these were given by their master as a precaution. Looking to the right, where the man with spectacles gritted his teeth and launched a palm attack toward him, he had no doubt this man also possessed the same treasure.
Liu Xing jumped to the side, but as if the man with spectacles could predict his movement, he followed him, and his palm strike, coated in green flame, came within centimeters of hitting his chest. Seeing this, Liu Xing summoned his shield right in front of his opponent's face. With his third eye, he could clearly see the man's face collide with the shield, making him grimace and giving Liu Xing a moment to step back.
"Cheap trick!" the man with spectacles shouted.
Liu Xing sent qi to his stone blade, making the man glance at his blade for a split second—a moment long enough for his gun, attached to his Eye of Lightning, to quickly descend and unleash bullets. As they sailed through the air, the green flame touched Liu Xing's chest, and the chest area of his clothes disintegrated, and a palm strike that intensely hot grazed his skin. Yet, before it could do any damage, his lightning bullets struck the man in the back, and arcs of electricity exploded around him, caging him in a lightning prison and making him scream as if his brain were boiling.
He instantly swung his blade toward his opponent's neck. Amidst the electricity surrounding him, the man's eyes tracked the stone blade. Instantly, a golden color erupted from him. His stone blade hit a barrier, creating a tinkling sound, before the man with spectacles was also suddenly thrown to the side so fast, both of his feet dragged tracks on the ground.
Liu Xing observed the man with golden eyes, who slapped a talisman on the woman, and then turned toward the man with spectacles, who stood on both feet, ankles buried in the ground, without a golden aura surrounding him, breathing laboriously with large beads of sweat on his forehead. The man looked at him with blazing fury in his eyes, but Liu Xing could see fear emanating from them. It seemed they had underestimated him, which was understandable, since he was still an outer disciple.
"I see that the tales about you are not as exaggerated as I thought," the man with spectacles commented. "We were a bit too arrogant. As a disciple of the Purple Moon Sect, I feel deeply ashamed by my disregard. You are strong."
"Does that mean you won't pursue me?" Liu Xing asked.
"Not a chance," the man said, and lunged at him with both hands glowing green.
His third eye, now hovering high in the air, saw that the man with golden eyes also lunged at him so fast, yet even with his enhanced ears, he could not hear his footsteps. A quick observation revealed that the man was not running on the ground, but hovering just above it. In a mere moment, both men arrived in front of and behind him. The man with spectacles thrust his palm toward his chest, while the man with golden eyes thrust his silent sword at his back.
Liu Xing let his body move instinctively. He sent more qi to his stone blade, making it shine purple, and simultaneously dismissed his lightning blade, absorbed the bullets from his gun, and created a lightning ball in his left hand. As the green palm strike and the sword came within meters of him, Liu Xing turned his body to the side, positioning the purple stone blade to point toward the man with spectacles and the lightning ball toward the man with golden eyes—whose eyes widened as if in surprise.
"You're still underestimating me," Liu Xing said, and unleashed both attacks. From his stone blade, a purple crescent of qi erupted. It was more than five meters long, but as thin as paper. It shot so fast from its stone blade that one side split the ground beneath it, while the other split the air. His lightning ball, on the other hand, launched a pillar of white lightning the size of an elephant. It extended so rapidly that it rattled the air, as if the dark sky had unleashed a thousand lightning strikes.
Both of his opponents widened their eyes. Both of them let out a war cry, as if their roar could strengthen them. The man with spectacles unleashed a palm strike at his crescent purple qi. A giant hand made of green fire materialized and collided with his crescent qi and stopped his attack momentarily. The man with golden eyes thrust his sword. The thrust was so strong, so mighty, that the air trembled. A green beam of light materialized in front of his sword, and it squarely hit his lightning pillar, generating dancing white and green light.
But while they each unleashed attacks to counter Liu Xing's, in the end, they lost. The green hand made of fire broke and shattered into millions of motes of green fire, while the green beam of light was swallowed by his lightning pillar. Both attacks rushed toward their respective opponents, whose eyes widened and faces paled, as if they knew they would die.
Then, a golden light erupted from both of them, and although they were saved, the attacks were strong enough to make them shoot like bullets, shattering some still standing trees and boulders. Liu Xing looked left and right, trying to choose his target. The man with golden eyes or the man with glasses? He realized that their teamwork in this battle was quite good. But coincidentally his attacks had split them up.
As Liu Xing tried to choose his target, his eyes accidentally caught the man with the golden eyes, who looked to the side with fear in his eyes. Following that gaze, Liu Xing saw the woman with purple lipstick. Her left arm had fully regenerated, but her hair was disheveled, and fear emanated from her eyes. Since she was closer, Liu Xing decided to once again target her.
