My College Teacher is My Children's Mom

Chapter 378 The Three Treasures Who Love Music

After they finished playing games, San Bao started to play with some musical instruments.

Lin Feng asked her, "Since you like music, how about Daddy finds a teacher for you?"

San Bao nodded. "Daddy, I want to learn the drums."

"No problem. Daddy will get in touch with a training class."

That evening, Lin Feng inquired around Yangcheng for a good place to learn the drums.

Zhang Yuxi, who was beside him, said, "Honey, make sure to ask them how it works since school is starting soon."

"Hmm."

He found an educational institution that Little Rui's mother had recommended. Her son was learning piano and violin at this very music academy. All the teachers there had graduated from prestigious schools and were quite renowned.

"I had the children's father check out this institution; it's legitimate, so you can rest assured!" she had told them.

After getting the address, Lin Feng took his wife and children to the training institution the next day. The place was surprisingly large, with professional teachers providing one-on-one instruction and charging by the hour. Needless to say, the prices were stunningly high!

The person in charge welcomed them, and her eyes lit up the moment she saw the quadruplets. Oh my, this is a major client.

"Sister Li contacted me yesterday and asked me to treat you like regulars, so I'll be frank with you," the person in charge said.

Lin Feng smiled faintly. "Go ahead."

"I'd like to ask, will all the children be learning, or just one of them?"

"Just one," Lin Feng replied. He gestured, pulling San Bao into his arms. "This is our third child. She's very fond of music."

The person in charge nodded. "A love for music at such a young age suggests she has a natural talent for it!

"You mentioned last night that she wants to learn the drums, right? Our lessons are structured by course load. A single lesson lasts between forty-five minutes and an hour. Any longer isn't good for a child. After all, a three-year-old's attention span isn't that long. It's better for them to really focus and absorb ten minutes of material than to try and take in a full hour. That way, the lesson isn't wasted. Don't you agree?"

Lin Feng nodded.

"Also, once the learning process starts, it can't be abandoned halfway. You can't have them learn one day and then stop the next. Or perhaps a child starts with a burst of interest but gradually loses it, and then you stop bringing them. Personally, I believe that if you're going to have them learn something, it should be done properly. If the child wants to give up, it's our job as parents to supervise them! We adults all know that for top students, learning is a joyful thing, right?

"We have packages here designed specifically for children starting from scratch."

Lin Feng listened quietly, understanding the implications of her words. Money wasn't a major concern for him.

"Let my daughter try a lesson," he suggested.

"Of course, no problem. I'll call Teacher Cai over. He specializes in drum instruction."

Another teacher chimed in, "Teacher Cai is in the middle of a class right now."

The person in charge smiled. "Then how about we go to the classroom and take a look?"

Lin Feng had no objections.

He pushed open the classroom door, and the sound of drumming filled the air. A young male teacher was leading the class. He glanced at the doorway and immediately understood the situation. There were five students in the classroom.

"Our Teacher Cai arranges different courses for students based on their individual situations," the person in charge explained. "The students in this class have been learning for a year already. Teacher Cai, could you have them demonstrate what they've learned?"

Teacher Cai agreed and immediately had the five students start drumming. It had to be said, their movements were incredibly cool and a true pleasure to watch.

San Bao's eyes were sparkling like stars as she watched them with a look of pure longing. Behind her, the other three children were watching intently.

Er Bao laughed. "Wow, I want to play too!"

The person in charge asked, "Teacher Cai, when does your class end?"

"It'll be over soon."

"In that case, could you please look after these four children for a moment? I need to speak with their parents."

"No problem."

The person in charge turned to the quadruplets. "Go on and have fun. If you like it, you can sign up!" Then she spoke to Teacher Cai again, "If I'm not back in a bit, please take the children on a tour and let them get a better feel for the place."

Teacher Cai nodded in understanding.

Zhang Yuxi glanced at Lin Feng. "Honey, you go. I'll watch the kids."

The person in charge led Lin Feng on a tour, stopping at a wall covered with introductions. It was filled with the profiles of teachers from various fields, along with their biographies.

"You can have absolute confidence in us; our teachers are all highly professional! Our school was founded in Yangcheng many years ago, and we hold various competitions every year. We also take students abroad for competitions. We offer all of that."

The person in charge had said a lot, but the gist was that their facilities were excellent and they were very well-connected. They could provide a bigger stage for the children's talents, not limiting them merely to their studies.

"Now that parents are more financially comfortable, they can cultivate their children's interests in all areas. For girls, for instance, parents sign them up for piano, violin, and other similar classes. They believe it not only enhances their daughters' disposition but also refines their character and sensibilities. Many parents think this way. We have quite a few boys signed up as well..."

Lin Feng interrupted her. "As long as my children like something, I will support them in it."

The person in charge smiled. "Exactly, that's the right attitude. After all, the child's own interest is what's most important."

Just then, Zhang Yuxi returned with the children. San Bao was absolutely radiant with excitement.

Lin Feng held her and said, "You can learn whatever you like, but you must stick with it, okay? We can't give up halfway; you have to persevere. Can you do that?"

San Bao lifted her delicate little face. "Daddy, I can do it!"

Lin Feng cupped her face. "Good. Daddy believes in you!"

Zhang Yuxi quickly chimed in, "Mommy also believes San Bao can stick with it!"

Lin Feng then looked at his other children. "Does anyone else want to learn something?"

The other kids remained silent. Even Er Bao, who had been so enthusiastic earlier, didn't say a word.

Lin Feng wasn't surprised. Learning music not only refined one's character but also trained one's temperament. That little rascal Er Bao loved to play all day; getting her to sit still and learn music would be a challenge.

In the end, he only signed San Bao up, starting with a foundation of forty lessons.

"Daddy, I also want to learn piano and violin..."

Before Lin Feng could speak, the person in charge interjected, "If the child likes it, you should sign her up! We have a promotion right now."

After tapping away at a calculator, she said, "How about a discount of eight thousand?"

The tuition for drums was nowhere near as expensive as for the violin or piano, and Lin Feng had chosen one-on-one instruction.

"Can you provide lessons at home?" Lin Feng asked.

"Of course, no problem," the manager said immediately. "We adults are busy, after all, and with so many children, it's inconvenient to travel back and forth. However, home tutoring is a bit more expensive than having lessons here."

Lin Feng indicated that was acceptable.

The person in charge's fingers flew across the calculator again. "Take a look at this price. Is it acceptable?"

Lin Feng had done some research online before coming. He had a rough idea of the costs in Yangcheng, and this offer was quite reasonable.

Lin Feng said calmly, "Make the discount a bit better, and I'll buy a piano, a violin, and a drum set from you right here."

The person in charge's eyes lit up instantly.

"This way, please..."

Not only did they teach students, but they also sold musical instruments, all of them quite costly.

"Sir, our instruments are all from well-known brands, and you can look up the prices nationwide. That said, we can offer our own discount. After all, we have access to special channels."
