"You damn idiot Kurt, they were expecting you! The whole place is surrounded, they are in all the surrounding buildings. You walked right into their trap," said Sara.

"There's no one outside but us."

"They saw you come, it was probably smart to leave anyone with you outside. But we've been trapped here."

Laura came down the stairs to meet them both.

"So it's true, Arthur really did betray the Fire Clan," said Laura

"He and Jacob are safe."

"Jacob missing is why they set this up, they thought he'd come back for me too."

"He's a prisoner more than anything."

"They won't care now, what's happening outside?" said Sara.

"But why'd they keep you here?"

"As bait, Kurt, they thought either you or Arthur would come."

"Then we've got to move now."

"Uhhhh," said Laura, "why did you do this, my life was fine! But I don't really have much choice, if you leave with Sara what will I stay?" She shook her head.

Kurt heard a knock at the door then yelling. I guess the Fire Clan was making a move. Then more yelling. They opened the door.

"Kurt!" Said Hank, "there are a bunch out here."

Kurt unsheathed his sword, "Sara we have to get going, the armies on the attack the wall has been breached. But on the other side of the city. Can you grow a golem while inside then jump out."

"I think I can," said Sara.

Kurt walked out with several fire clan members of various ranks surrounding Hank and Talia.

"Good, you've finally arrived," said one of the men. "We are here—"

"Hank," said Kurt, ignoring the man.

A charge of sparks started to erupt on Hank's blade, he was also holding a strange ring, one of the one's Blake gave to Joe. Hank was giving a big grin, and pointed his blade at the closest to him. Talia had started swinging her sling around. And then Hank shot out a lightning bolt, and it struck the man in front of him, but it didn't stop there, it jumped and chained to two other fire clan members. "Ohh I like that benefit," said Hank, "chain lightning."

Kurt swung his blade in a flurry of slashes all with sheets of water behind them, slashes at the enemies. Talia shot out a rock, and instead of growing bigger it spread out into several. An arrow howled in the air. The battle had begun.

A man sized tree tore up through the ground, Sara's tree golem. Another arrow whizzed through the air. A fire blast came at Kurt, and he sliced it with his sword, cutting it in half. But past it he saw a snake fire golem. The heat radiated off it.

Kurt saw a blur and recognized it, another speedster. Clashing with their blade they were locked. He tried to hold as Harvey managed to climb to his shoulder.

Harvey screamed at the man Kurt was fighting, another few blows, putting Kurt on the defensive from the speed, he bounded with his opponent's blade in a struggle of strength. The struggle didn't need to end as Harvey breathed fire from his maw, and encased the man's whole face, his skin boiled in front of Kurt, and he fell grabbing his face in pain.

There was a fire whip that struck Kurt from behind, he could feel the burn. He heard a loud thump from the tree golem making a strike. And laughter from Hank. Screams from somewhere.

Taking the hit forward, Harvey grabbed Kurt's shoulder as he fell to one knee. Harvey lifted on of his four leg and patted Kurt. And he felt a a strong beat from his heart.

The world seemed to slow down, he saw Harvey jump from his shoulder falling slowly. What happened? And he noticed everything else was slow. Time hadn't slowed down at all, another beat of his heart. He had been perceiving things faster.

A speedster came fast at him, but not an impossible speed anymore, he blocked the coming attack. And Harvey took a bite at his leg, causing him to lose enough footing to be over powered.

The fire snake came closer and lunged at Kurt, he barely jumped away, Harvey shot a out a flame of water, which seemed to create pain for the fire snake.

Rolling Kurt got up, and shot out several crescent waves at the enemies. They came out as normal but were reddish in color. A man that wasn't facing him was simply sliced completely in half. Kurt felt a power coming from somewhere. He turned toward Hank, who was entrenched in his own battle.

But then he saw Hank smile, a spark ran up his blade, and when he flashed sword with his opponent he must have gotten shocked by the electricity, and immediately dropped his sword. Hank swung the Khopesh backwards, its sickle curve went around its neck and Hank pulled, printing the point on the other side into the back of it. The man's eyes lit up, and his body pulled forward, his hands twitched . For the back of his neck.

And arrow flew past Kurt, hitting an opponent behind him. The fire snake raised up high. A few water shot came from Harvey at it. "Shi-Va-Kai" And an ice sheet came from the trail of Kurt's blade. Slashing at the giant fire golem.

A thumb from the tree golem on his left or right was heard. Kurt looked up and saw a fire bird. Damn it there is more than one of them.

Kurt saw a man taking a swing at Talia back, as she was swinging her sling. At speed Kurt never dreamed of he would appear before it to block, and the power made overpowering the man easy, Kurt gave him a kick.

Harvey start to scream louder, one head was giving a big fire flame, the other a huge water cannon, shooting at two opponents. Harvey seemed to be growing before his eyes. An arrow shot into the air and created an ice block striking the fire bird. Tom apparently had more than wind arrows.

It was pure mayhem, he went back to back with Talia.

"You okay?"

Talia whipped her sling, releasing a rock that grew and hit an enemy. "As I can be."

The tree golem was fully on fire by the next time Kurt spotted it, Sara had come out and did a low kick and a tentacle swept the ground tripping some of the men. Kurt saw Hank in the air and come down on a man.

The person in front of Kurt had an axe and swung wildly at him, Kurt was able to dodge out of the way a thin line of water was in front of his face and shot forward, curing it clean and the man fell.
