The sound of water splashing rang out in the bathroom where, beneath a shower, stood a blue-haired young man.

His body lay reclining on the wall front as water fell upon his shoulder, cleaning away the blood marks on him, all of it pooling into a red liquid.

║You suffered quite the damage.║

The system notification flashed as he looked at the red liquid at his feet, slowly pooling to white.

There were blade marks all over him, the injuries he had sustained from Mecha Eva.

But the ones whose pain he felt the most were the cracks in his skull, sending that throbbing headache, as well as his aching spine that had almost been shattered.

One had to realize that it had almost been shattered by a single punch.

"Those four from CHO… they're beyond V grade."

They were the same level of power as he was, and if he had fought four of them head-on, after already sustaining injuries from his fight with Mecha Eva…there was no saying who would have won.

Even if he had, it would be a miracle if he'd be able to get himself clean out of there.

'Good thing they won't really be aware of who I am or what I look like.'

His Illumino mech form was a transformation that completely altered his identity from ordinary.

"Activate System Interface," he ordered in the next moment, and the panel flashed.

"Evolution protocol?" Everlearn mused with a raised eyebrow.

He had found it weird that the system would specially have a quest for him to kill a human, but not only that, even its rewards were also a bit weird.

║It's not a reward you can use now, but… you'll find out when the time comes.║

The system notification flashed, and Everlearn could only look at the panel quietly for a while before shrugging it off.

"Use the All Injuries Rejuvenation Card!"

BAADUUUMP!

His heart pounded once, sending a ripple of blue energy that rapidly trailed beneath his skin, giving him an ice-cold feeling.

The fracture in his skull sealed itself, the headache dissolving with it. Then his spine trembled, sending mild racks of pain coursing through Everlearn.

It turned colder, but that soon faded.

The marks on his skin faded next, and Everlearn rose upright, bones cracking within him.

"Huuuuu, now I feel much better," he mused.

The red liquid beneath his feet also turned white, the blood drained away, and he switched off the shower.

He had stored a couple of clothes in the system's shop for situations like this, so he brought out a towel, wiped himself clean, then donned a simple blue shirt and trousers before stepping out of the bathroom.

The room was still scattered from the airwaves from before, and one could argue it was his fault, so he walked through the room, quickly putting things back to the place where he remembered them to be in the first place.

When he finished laying the bed as it was, he looked around the newly arranged room, and it occurred to him, from the various designs and arrangements,

This was a girl's room.

'To think I really just jumped into a lady's room covered in blood and naked,' Everlearn thought, his face growing hot as he clasped his face in embarrassment.

'That was so dumb.'

The sound of footsteps echoed out loud, and he turned to the door.

Not long after, two knocks resounded on the door before the knob was pushed and a head popped in.

It was Sara, and her eyes glinted with shock as she looked around the room.

She had been preparing to go through a heavy rearrangement of the room, which had been turned upside down, yet she came in to find everything as perfectly arranged as it was.

'Was I hallucinating?'

She thought quietly to herself, but quickly the answer to that was clear when she turned to the end of the room, where there was a window, and he was there turning just when she looked at him.

Her jaw dropped at the sight of him as she unconsciously muttered:

"So handsome…"

"Ehhhh?"

Everlearn mused out loud, looking at the lady who quickly snapped herself out of it, her head turning red when she saw Everlearn's lost expression at her words.

"I… I am so sor...I didn't mea..."

Words failed her, and he watched as she scurried out of the room, shutting the door with feet racing down the stairs as she shouted:

"I prepared tea."

║I feel like you sometimes forget that you have 300 points in Charisma when the most handsome models on Earth don't even have up to 50.║

The system panel flashed, and it finally occurred to Everlearn.

'Is that what Charisma does? Make girls' faces turn red?'

He asked with eyes drooping low.

If so, he might have just wasted so many points on nothing.

║That's just part of it. ║

║You aren't in the position to effectively use Charisma right now, but making girls blush is indeed one of the side effects.║

It said, and Everlearn could only roll his eyes.

But still, he stepped out.

The golden barrier was still up in the sky, and he wanted things to settle first, ideally after they deactivated the barrier, and he certainly didn't intend to spend all that waiting time in a lady's room.

So he stepped out of the room, entering a luxuriously designed corridor.

Walking further, he reached a staircase leading down into a large living room, beside which was a dining area.

There, at the table, sat Sara with a tray holding a cup of coffee in front of her.

His footsteps were so silent that she never even knew he was there until he pulled the seat back and took his seat, watching her jerk a bit in shock before she settled.

"You… you came down."
