The Rise of Quetzalcoatl

Chapter 249: Night Attack (2)

Krkkkkkk

My ice quickly froze their outer jaw and then slipped between their lips, freezing the inside of their mouths and even a bit of their throats.

"Tch… forgot to check if they had poison slipped into their gums… alright, whatever," I shrugged before enveloping the now dark elven corpse with ice and shattering him with my fist.

The other two elves looked with terror-filled eyes, dreading my next move.

"Forgive us… we… we should've checked," My maids apologized, but I just ignored them as I inspected the strange armor of these dark elves.

It was weird and kind of like a fluid… and it still moved as if it was still alive, almost feasting off of the life force of these dark elves.

When I touched it, small spikes were created, and they were sharp enough to pierce my skin, meaning this must've been a strong material.

After inspecting it for just a little bit longer, I tossed the dark elves to the side and went to go clean up the disaster which was unfolding across the other side of the base.

There was almost a war between these speedy elves and my highly trained soldiers who still couldn't land a hit on them.

Krkkkkkk

So, I gave them a little bit of assistance, and upon feeling their feet frozen to the floor, they tried to commit suicide, so I couldn't extract information from them.

They tried, but they didn't try hard enough as I froze their necks, mouths, and esophagus, leaving some of my soldiers to chop their limbs off with the bursting amounts of adrenaline constantly flowing through their body right now.

"Calm down," I announced, my voice booming through the small battlefield, causing my soldiers to all back away and follow my next directions.

For now, I just wanted to get them inside and store someplace else just in case more elves try to save them after realizing they were gone for too long.

My soldiers followed my orders swiftly, and soon, we had a few cabins stacked with dark elves who were constantly under the watch of battle healers.

Some immediately tried to bite off their tongues, but I didn't need to worry about them dying from that if there was a healer to help heal them….

Though, they were kind of useless unless I got them to write info down somewhere.

I wanted to wait for Cora to come back in order to decide what to do with these dark elves, but before I could do that, the armor on the dark elves beside me rippled.

And the decision would be between killing them, releasing them, or enslaving them… either could work, but I was leaning towards killing them.

I was chilling in my cabin, my maids serving me tea and massaging my sore muscles when both of the dark elves beside me died, their armor piercing straight through their hearts.

"Tch… Dispose of their bodies… Thankfully, not everybody has this kind of armor, so we'll at least be able to extract some information for now," I ordered my maids, who all quickly followed my orders faithfully.

They're all so cute when they're eager to follow my orders… they're like puppies ready to follow any order.

Soon, info of a few more dark elves dying reached me, and I soon ordered for their bodies to be disposed of.

Also, I had some soldiers bring me the mentally weakest-looking dark elves, and boy did I have some fun with them.

They folded just a few minutes into our session, but I knew this wasn't all the information I could obtain.

Parts of it were useful, such as the location of their camp, but their numbers and strength are what I was worried about.

There is the possibility of some secret corps waiting for us to sneak attack them, as these people might've been bait in the long run.

But are these beast-like things really that smart, or are they possibly trying to get me to think that so I underestimate them?

There is the other possibility that they are working with somebody else, and there is the terrifying possibility that it is the fire giants on the other side of the wall… who are also receiving help from dark elves… wait… does that mean…

"Mistress, please have some of this honey tea to calm down," My maid of death said, snapping me out of my deep thought.

"A-Ah, thanks," I said before she kneeled beside me, closing her eyes and allowing me to scan her without awkwardness.

After staring at her for a few minutes, she suddenly opened her eyes, a drop of nervous sweat rolling down her cheek.

"Is there something wrong, Mistress? Have I upset you in any way?"

"Nah… It's just… do you know any necromancy?" I asked, very intrigued as I never dived deep into what skills my maids had.

I just knew a few things about their weapons and how they could fuse with them, with the obvious fact that they could control their own element.

"Yes. Is there something you would like me to do?" She asked with even more nervous sweat rolling down her face as I continued to stare at her.

The other two maids just avoided looking at this strange situation as they cleaned around the cabin, making sure no drop of blood or speck of dust-stained this cozy place.

"Do you have a skill where you can revive the dead to a point where they keep consciousness?" I asked, staring deep into the maids diverting eyes.

"I, unfortunately, am not capable of that… but if I may ask, are you trying to get the dead to talk using some kind of loyalty brainwashing technique? Or possible a soul reading technique?"

"Indeed… so what do you think? Can you do it?" I asked, and the maid nodded confidently.

"Of course. Please allow this maid to access her full power, though,"

I was a bit confused by her request, but before I could come up with some hypothesis, a panel appeared in front of me.

[Would you like to grant full power to your Maid?]

[Drawbacks are heavy for the Host and the Maid]
