"So... Where are you from?" Leo asked the girl, as he walked next to her, his fingers brushing past the flowers on the other side.
Throughout the years, he had seen many people. Although it was mostly on billboards, he had even seen the prettiest women on earth.
Yet, for some reason, he was a little interested in the girl he had seen under the moonlight.
It was unclear if it was simply because he was bored out of his mind, and needed to waste around six hours, or if he genuinely found her worth having a little crush on.
"You have probably never heard of the place where I'm from," Selene answered. She wasn't trying to lie. It was genuinely true from her perspective.
"Try me. You'll be surprised how good I am at my geographical knowledge," Leo said with pride in his voice. However, just to be safe, he sneakily brought out his phone, keeping it out of Selene's view.
"It's a little planet called Elysiara," Selene said, making Leo immediately type the name with his left hand.
Unfortunately, every time he managed to write the name with his non prominent hand, even if the spelling was correct, the autocorrect would always change the name into something else, causing his frustration to rise.
While he tried to correct the name, he nodded as if he perfectly recognized the name.
"Ah, Elysiara, I heard a lot about that place. I must say, I'm impressed..."
As soon as he corrected the name, he searched for it. But contrary to his expectations, he couldn't find a single matching result.
There was not a single mention of Elysiara in the entire search engine. It even made him wonder if Selene was messing with him, but her expressions didn't appear like she was lying.
Unfortunately, now he couldn't even ask her about the planet's rank or other features since he already pretended to know about it.
He could only play along while he regretted not having the Galactic Union Device that he had robbed... borrowed.
He didn't know that even in the device of the Galactic Union which had the vast knowledge that wasn't available for the general public, there was no mention of Elysiara.
The Galactic Union only knew of Seraphim, believing it to be an ancient planet where the Ancient House of Seraphim lived.
Even the Galactic Union didn't know that Seraphim wasn't actually a planet. It was an entire hidden realm, with multiple planets present within.
Most of those planets were occupied by various sub divine clans of the House of Seraphim. And in the realm, there was a planet where the Monarch of Seraphim resided. That planet was the one which was called Elysiara.
"Which planet are you from?"
Seraphim asked a question, almost forgetting that she was about to ask why Leo was so certain that only two Ancient Clans would be participating in the auction.
Was it simply his guess because he worked with the Auction House and knew that only two ancient houses were in attendance?
At least that was her primary guess. It wasn't a certainty of a knowledgeable man, but ignorance of someone trying to put pieces together to guess some things.
"I..." For a moment, Leo hesitated, wondering if it was right to talk about Earth.
However, then he remembered that Fiona had already seen him. The Auction House also knew his identity, which was asked for registration to verify his identity.
That wasn't even counting Timmy, Kaelus and anyone else that might be in the crowd.
When he thought about it, he couldn't help but scratch his head. At this point, was there any privacy left for him in the first place?
In the end, he shook his head. Since his privacy was already gone, he might as well let the world know that Leo Vanderlen was here.
This was not only an opportunity to make a name for himself, but this was also an alibi! This place was a perfect alibi for his whereabouts, especially since something really fun was going to happen in a few hours.
With this alibi, no one could do anything to him. A few people like Fiona could guess his hand, but legally, there was nothing to be done.
This was also why he was certain that he was going to see those men again. When legal options were out, they were going to appear, following Fiona's orders.
It was also his way to make sure that those people were indeed working for Fiona.
"You have probably never heard of the place where I'm from," Leo said, using Selene's words on her own.
Hearing her words being directed back at her, a subtle smile spread on her face which even she didn't realize.
"Try me. You'll be surprised how good I am at my geographical knowledge," she said, almost letting out a light chuckle.
If anyone who knew about Selene was here, they would be shocked to see her laughing. Even though she was in disguise, that beautiful laughter still looked divine.
For a moment, even Leo was in a daze. How could a person be so pretty? Was this even fair to other women in the world?
"Is something on my face?" Selene asked, tilting her head sideways as she saw Leo gazing at her face in a daze, his feet coming to a half.
"It's nothing." Leo came out of his daze, and shook his head lightly. Deep down, even he was surprised at himself. Just what was that?
"Anyways, I'm from a small place called earth. At the moment, it's only a m-"
"A middle tier planet. I have heard about it," Selene mumbled, recognising that name.
Leo didn't know how big it was for the Monarch of an Ancient House to recognize the name of a planet that was recently promoted to a middle tier planet, not even a high planet.
"Isn't that the place where..." She thought of something, but didn't finish her sentence.
