The person that he least wanted to see, was right in front of him. Fiona Lionel, the heiress of the Lionel Family was accompanied by a young man that he had never seen before.
The man was wearing a very luxurious attire, with a Lionel Family emblem on his chest.
"Is he also a main descendant of the Lionel Family?" Leo wondered. "Still, without an invitation, they wouldn't be allowed in, right? The family won't be shameless enough to force their way in."
"If they are here to catch me, they would probably wait outside. That makes things a lot more complicated..."
Just the sight of the Lionel Family descendants was surprising, but they were also accompanied by the family guards that were standing behind them.
"Wait... The heck?" The young man from the Lionel Family brought out an invitation, and showed it to the guards outside the venue.
"Picollo, don't tell me you actually invited the Lionel Family yourself? Were you trying to get me kidnapped?"
Leo wanted to rush inside the venue and give Picollo a good scolding. He had only told Picollo to send invitations to influential people, but he didn't tell him to go beyond earth and invite the most influential people in their space sector?
After verifying the invitation, the Guards opened the door to the Lionel Family.
Fiona stepped forward, accompanied by her brother. The guards also followed them, but they were stopped by the venue security.
"Only the guests are allowed inside. No private security personnel..."
There was a saying that an ignorant person wasn't scared of anything. The Guards hired for the venue weren't superhumans from earth. They were just ordinary people.
They didn't know the influence that the Lionel Family held, or even the symbol of the family. They only saw the invitation, and treated them as ordinary guests.
After all, they had already seen many wealthy businessmen today, all treating Alpha Corp with respect.
"You-" Lionel Family guard tried speaking, but Fiona simply raised her hand, making him stop.
"Stay outside. We will be fine..." Fiona's long gown slid across the floor, as she walked inside, the door closing behind her.
"Fiona is inside. That makes things more problematic. If I come across her, it would be a mess. Should I just return... But I really want to watch the crash and burn of Alpha Corp. What should I do?"
Leo's back was resting against the tree, as he wondered if there was anything he could do.
He could borrow the identity of the Envoy, but that was even worse. If the envoy appeared on the same planet twice, it would raise a lot of questions.
It was especially the case since the guests weren't just ignorant earthlings this time.
"Fine....I'll just have to be more careful!" Leo took a deep breath, and walked around the venue sneakily, trying to find any flaw in the security.
"There it is!" He saw an opening, a weak point in the security encirclement.
There was a window that was closed shut. It was impossible for an ordinary person to open it from outside, but he didn't care about that. He quickly rushed to that weak point.
"Hey, what are you doing there?"
No matter how sneaky he was, he was still seen by a guard who was on routine patrol, his timing being the worst that it could be.
"Young man, did you see someone? I am a guest here. Someone stole my things and ran here!" Leo raised his hand innocently, and made an excuse.
Since he was well dressed and looked to be from a decent family, the guard didn't question his words either.
"I didn't see anyone here. But I can help you find him. What did he look like?" The guard approached Leo, trying to be helpful.
"He was tall..." Leo started giving a description of Timmy as he slowly approached the guard who was also drawing closer.
"Are you sure you're not joking? What's that description? As slim as a wooden stick?" The guard weirdly looked at Leo, frowning at the description.
"That's exactly what he looked like," Leo insisted. Once the person was within striking distance, he pointed behind the guard and exclaimed, "There he is!"
"Where?" The guard looked back. "I don't see any-"
The guard even squinted his eyes but couldn't see anyone. Unfortunately, he suddenly felt something hit the back of his head. The world started spinning, as he passed out.
Leo quickly grabbed him, dragging him back. "I'm sorry. I'll compensate you later."
He brought the guard in a corner, and took off the guard's clothes, and used them to tie his hands and legs, along with shutting his mouth.
Leo stood up, sighing heavily. "It's good that Picollo didn't hire superhumans. Otherwise, this would've been impossible."
He quickly returned to the window in the unseen corner. Just to be safe, he tried to open it but it didn't even move.
He reached out his hand towards the sky, and specks of light materialised around his hand as the ship transferred something.
A sword materialized around Leo's hand, which he used to slice the window.
"Voldred would kill me if he finds out by using his treasured sword for things like these."
The sword sliced through the window like butter, without making any noise. Once the task was completed, the sword was sent back.
....
Meanwhile inside the venue, a few people had noticed something.
Even Fiona was frowning, as she mumbled, "What was that strange feeling?"
Fortunately, that feeling disappeared within a few seconds, as if it was just her misconception.
....
Leo pulled back the sliced part of the window, and jumped inside like a thief.
Once he was inside, he placed the window back just like Picollo and the other researchers did with the door in the lab. It was just for show and even a little push would've made it fall.
"Finally I'm inside. Not bad. I truly do have a knack for it." Leo patted his clothes, acting completely normal as if he was truly a guest and didn't just sneak inside after knocking out a guard.
He looked at the time on the wristwatch. "The demonstration should begin in five minutes. I'm on time."
In complete confidence, he walked towards the main hall.
