Death… And Me

Chapter 3729: Ridiculously Strong

Chapter 3729: Ridiculously Strong

"What do you mean, the younger me?" Kentucky complained. "I’m extremely young for someone with my cultivation, okay?! Besides, I’m way more beautiful than that guy!"

Frife-Ni didn’t take that lying down. "Like hell you are! Can’t you see these curves? This face? This demeanor? There is no more honorable Minokawa than the Great Frife-Ni!"

Fruier couldn’t help but ask Rean. "Are these two perhaps some kind of long-lost siblings or some shit like that?"

"Truth be told, they are," Rean answered.

"What?!" Fruier looked at the two again, still feeling angry. "No wonder I want to kill both more than I usually do other Minokawas!"

"Siblings? What siblings?" Frife-Ni wasn’t taking it. "Fruier, just get rid of these two. They must be some spies!"

Kentucky stomped his feet on the ground. The entire top of the mountain trembled, a testament to Kentucky’s immense physical strength and his Celestial Bloodline. Even Fruier couldn’t do that with the raw power of her body alone. "First of all, I hate this idea as much as you do. Second, can’t you see I’m also a Minokawa, idiot?"

"Hmph!" Frife-Ni wasn’t the least bit impressed. "So what? Perhaps the other powers brought you from some hidden corner we didn’t know Minokawas also existed. I know pretty much all Minokawa Nests of our race, and I’m sure I’ve never seen such an ugly Minokawa before."

Kentucky was truly losing his patience. "Rean, forget this piece of shit! There is no way such a moron is my brother. Honorable my ass!"

"Oh! At least we agree on this point. A fool like you indeed could never be my brother," Frife-Ni added.

Rean sighed, pointing at the feather on the tablet. "Ahem... Frife-Ni, since that is your feather, you should know who you gave it to, don’t you?"

Frife-Ni’s eyebrow raised a little, and he looked at the feather. He hasn’t paid attention to it earlier since he thought Fruier was the one who called him. So, naturally, he thought she had used the feather he gave her. "This feather... Wait! That’s the feather I gave to Havira!"

Rean nodded. "Finally, you understood. Can w-"

Frife-Ni pointed out. "Kill them now!"

"What?!" Rean and Kentucky were taken aback, but Fruier didn’t hold back.

The laws of wind and earth gathered, and Fruier’s crystal wings shone with immense power.

*Zush, zush!*

Too bad, though. Rean was even faster, and at the same time, Roan appeared. Before she could make her first move and finish gathering her strength, the twins now had a Scythe and a Sword touching her neck. "Now, how about you stay still for a moment?"

What speed was that? All she saw was a bright red lightning coming out of Rean’s body, and then he appeared in front of her. The other guy was even weirder. She knew he must have come from the enemy’s Dimensional Realm, but she barely noticed the spatial distortion from where Roan appeared, and then he was already with his Scythe on her neck.

"Stop!" Gulis wanted to act, but Kentucky moved almost as fast as the twins.

*Bang!*

He stomped on Gulis with such power and speed that the guy was knocked out before he could do anything. Kentucky didn’t kill him, though. "Now, go sleep a little."

On the other side of the tablet call, Frife-Ni looked at that with wide-open eyes. "W-Who are you? I knew it! Look at that guy with black hair! He is a human! You are truly betrayers of the Demon Beast Races!"

"Fuck you!" Kentucky cursed. "You told her to kill us, so be thankful we held back! For fuck’s sake, this younger brother is just too much!"

The other two Space-Time Realm Obsidian Dreadoxes arrived a second later, but seeing the situation, they immediately understood they wouldn’t have a chance here. They kept their guard up, ready to move at any moment.

Roan kept his scythe on Fruier’s neck, this time looking at the tablet and Frife-Ni. "Why are you Minokawas so annoying? No, forget that. I don’t want to know. We heard from Havira. From the looks of it, you were never told about Kentucky."

Rean sighed, looking at Fruier. "We have nothing against your race, and we absolutely don’t want to kill anyone." He turned to Frife-Ni. "You were never told about Kentucky, but I’m pretty sure you at least know about Puorton-Le and Vavalia-Hek’s real names, right?"

"Real names?" The Dreadoxes looked at Frife-Ni on the tablet, including Fruier. No one heard anything about Puorton-Le and Vavalia-Hek having other names.

Yet, Frife-Ni looked terrified. "You, how do-"

"Shut up!" Kentucky stopped him. "Are you going to spill the beans? Don’t you know the danger you will bring to them if you speak? Just understand that we know their origins since we came from the same place. That’s all you need to comprehend. Now, there is a very, very simple way to test whether I’m your brother or not. Let’s test our DNA. Even here in the Demon Beast Territories, you should have enough technology for this much, right?"

At the same time, Roan talked to Fruier. "I’ll let you go, but if you think about attacking us again, we will not stop. Are we clear?"

Fruier swallowed hard, nodding. "Y-Yes..."

Rean and Roan retracted their sword and scythe. Roan didn’t stay there, though. "You guys resolve this shit. I’m out." And then he returned to the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm.

Fruier got conflicted. She didn’t want to just accept it... But she would be an idiot if she didn’t understand the gap in strength. The twins could even fight Peak Stage Divinity Realm Experts, after all. She looked down, thinking about something else instead.

"Don’t even think about it," Rean warned her. "The slaughtering Formation hidden inside the mountain has been deactivated already."

[Courtesy of your Sister Orb! Satisfaction guaranteed!] Sister Orb spoke in Rean’s mind.

Fruier was even more terrified. She tried to contact the formation, but it simply didn’t answer her!

Well, Rean didn’t really need Roan’s help... if he wanted to kill Fruier. However, that would make things complicated, so they only needed to prevent this situation from escalating. That’s why Roan came out and helped Rean stop Fruier before she started to fight for real. They needed to show that she simply wasn’t their match.

Frife-Ni saw how they stopped the attack, narrowing his eyes. They were still insisting on their story. Above all, the fact that they knew about Puorton-Le and Vavalia-Hek’s names... "DNA results can still be manipulated to a certain extent. If you got your hands on my feather, you might have synthesized a similar blood, so that won’t work. Let’s do it the old way. Kentucky, pick up the tablet."

Kentucky did as he was told, already knowing what Frife-Ni wanted. "Is a drop fine?"

"Yes," Frife-Ni confirmed. "Just put a drop of your blood on the tablet. It is connected to a secret teleport formation in the nearby area, and it will deliver the blood to me. Make sure-"

"Make sure to activate the bloodline technique, yes, I know," Kentucky cut in. "However, don’t be scared after you feel it. Your big brother here is strong as fuck!"

The method was quite simple, and even back in Sunkan Planet, where the twins’ journey started, it was used. The twins had seen it being used a few times before, too. You could make two different bloodlines interact with each other through the use of a special bloodline technique. Since even Sunkan had such a thing, let alone the Werdlem Empire in a Divine Realm. It worked for everyone... as long as they were beings that had blood or something similar, that is. Let’s just say that was the cultivation world’s way of doing a DNA test.

The drop touched the tablet and disappeared. In a matter of seconds, Frife-Ni received the blood drop with its bloodline special technique activated. Frife-Ni used a drop of his own blood in the next moment, and sure enough, the two drops merged. That technique made it so that only blood from the same origin could mix together. "I have a brother...? No, he might be my grampa too..."

"Your ass!" Kentucky didn’t want that at all.

Yet, what truly shocked Frife-Ni came next, the moment he felt Kentucky’s bloodline inside the mixed drop. "What a ridiculously strong bloodline!"
